Hey y’all,

my plants are coming along pretty nicely and are starting to grow some pistils. My question now is: what should I trim to optimize my plant growth? Attached you’ll find a couple photos with mark-ups of what sights I’m questioning. My concern is that, even though lower buds are usually producing less bud because of less light,
I’m training mine to get more light. Should I even bother keeping these growing or should I snipe them soon?
Thanks,

Grow’n

Not natural lighting, but here is the top-down view of the plants! They’re pretty leafy and have only been in flower for 7-8 days

I agree with one drop, any trimming on those plants will likely only reduce your yield.

Just spread out the top bud sites and let the other lower branches get some more light each leaf you cut off is a part of the plants engine room it's not going to go far without a good leaf engine to drive your crop

thanks you two, I’ll definitely keep them all. I’m training the top as well as the bottom stems to spread effectively! This is a first time grow in a rushed timeframe, so kinda forced to be spindly:(

Just use every grow as a learning tool believe me I’m into my 35 odd years of growing .... still learning with every grow , but each grow you do successfully gives you the conference to push the boundary’s of you crop sometimes its a win sometimes it’s a bust you have got to learn your craft well , Hell I envy some of you guys being young and having some really fantastic plants to grow it you life time , my time is almost over it’s going to be sad when I can’t grow anymore . Od .

Definitely a little late to try for these plants. I dont think thats what you are suggesting but just in case anyone gets the wrong idea, super cropping has to be done in veg for useful results.

Yes sorry that’s correct I was just giving him a example of what can be done that requires not scrog net and showing how the lower branches will come up to fill in the flat canopy I make . Your point is a very good and thanks for bringing that to the discussion, that’s what makes our community a cool place to engage with great growers with likeminded skills . Od
