Love that !! I will say , fruits, herbs, vegetables, and cannabis, are more alike than they are different ! I can say techniques from cultivating either have carried over and helped my flower production, my fruit production and my understand of the relationship between soil and plant !

It seems to be that way, this is my main area, excuse the mess but I am using the same soil and fertilizers for all the plants, next year I can fine tune a bit more on these new plants

For Southern California, the flowering window opens up about the third week of July when days have shortened to 14 hours or less. Yeah I know, we flip em at 12 but in nature that's where it starts to happen, when there's 10 or more hours of uninterrupted darkness.

If you're an outside grower, especially if you grow year round like me, it's helpful to know the key solar pivot points: the Solstices and the Equinoxes. The Solstices are the minimum and maximum points of day length and the Equinoxes mark when the days and nights are equal length. They're useful to know for planning purposes. For year round gardening it helps you plan your supplemental light schedule so you give plants what they will need without burning unnecessary electricity. For seasonal gardening it helps you know when to plant.
