Ken- The same to you brother! :) I want marijuana legalized for many reasons. However, smoking weed used to make me feel better....now it doesn't. When I smoke, I feel paranoid, I'm lazy and have a hard time getting things done, I can't think clearly, and after a few months of daily use, my memory suffers. I dont consider that medicine. Of course everyone on this site loves getting blasted and will disagree with me.....that's fine. But this forum is a small % of the population. I started using mmj because I wanted to get off the opiates my doctors gave me for two herniated discs and arthritis in my spine, from 13 years of break dancing. I got off the pain killers and realized mmj did nothing for pain. A doctor who is a family member and who had read most of the studies on mmj, told me mmj would never help with pain because it doesn't bind to opiate receptors in the body. And that's a fact no one can deny.

I rarely drink or smoke buds, I don't smoke tobacco and don't use drugs, other than psychedelics to scrub my brain once in a blue moon. Im NOT telling anyone they shouldn't smoke pot......... if that's what you like....it's your body. :) My comment had nothing to do with that. But to the people that just want to get high- don't ruin it for those who really need mmj as a medicine because of life threatening illnesses. I owned an MMC here in CO for a few years. Sometimes I make mistakes. I would never get into the business knowing what I know now. Only 3% of the patient population in CO has a red card for cancer or seizures........,......real reasons to use mmj. More people came to buy buds from our MMC who were high on meth, rather than sick from cancer. THC has no medical value. CBD is the true medicine in marijuana. Only a small % of patients ask for high CBD strains. That means to me, most of the people that go to MMC's just want to get high. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to get high......trust me, I did it for half my life. What I am saying is that most of us use the medical card as an excuse to get high legally and that puts a bad cloud over the industry.
