Sorry if this is in the wrong section and if so please feel free to move it to the appropriate one. As I approach the last 30-40 days of my grow I want to start making preparations for next round and I’m looking for recommendations in terms of strains. I’ve had luck with some strains more than others and I know some are just a lot more resilient strains than others so I figured maybe you good folks could recommend some strains that seem to not be as picky as others. Prime example of a strain that’s been very hardy would be northern lights as I’ve grown from seed from multiple seed banks and they always do well. Looking for ones that don’t mind a little abuse in terms of training and aren’t as picky on the feeding like some. Bonus if they’re heavy yielders. Bigger bonus if there’s a nice hardy haze strain out there you know about. Thanks in advance!

North Atlantic Seed Co is a really good place to start. They have a large selection of breeders, so you can try a few at a time if you want. They also are VERY good about telling you what sales are coming up, so you can plan your purchase.

As for what strain? I dont have a recommendation on that besides stick to the photoperiods.

NASC (North Atlantic Seed Company) is reliable and will deliver quickly. Herbies Headshop has a USA distribution center which will get it to your door quickly.

Heavy yields and easy to grow:

Skywalker Kush - Reserva Privada
Shiskaberry Kush - Barney's Farm
Cinderella 99 (C-99) - lots of different breeders. Brothers Grimm has a whole lineup using C-99 genetics.
skunk #1 - Lots of breeders
Blue Cheese - Barney's Farm
Runtz Muffin - Barney's Farm
Grand daddy Purple - Blimburn Seeds

I can go on ... but these are what come to mind quickly. All are available in female seeds, offer good yields, and are forgiving of many beginner mistakes.

I'm a big fan of no name no strain beaners. I believe every plant can be a good plant.

But if you're looking for beans from the retail side.

Barney's
Royal Queen seeds
Seedsman
Original Sensible seeds
Growers choice

I enjoy widows, gelatos, cheeses, cookie, and gmo strains.

I dig through the genetic specifics to make sure it's what I'm going for.

I personally dont agree with the pricing on beans. I think it's outrageous. But I have pollinated a few on purpose to build my own seed bank. Currently was able to get 100 blue dream seeds, out of 8oz plant. But only 5 white widow seeds from 12oz plant.

So I feel different strains also, might produce more or less beans.

I know most of y'all cringe when you see a bean.

Being old, that's all we know. Grew up smoking on that dirty Mexican brick weed. Full of beaners.

Now atleast I have a general idea, what it is, where it came from.
