I find the potting soil of happy frog a little too dense, like if it's all I can find locally I add a whole large bag of pearlite to it . So I would upgrade at transplant either add in some pearlite or pumice or just swap them over to the Ocean Forest mix by Fox farm on transplant would be my advice . Runs a few dollars more than the potting soil. $ 23 is the highest I would pay for the big bag. Rural king carries it.

I don't know those strains folks need to say auto or photoperiod i think nowdays as you want to treat them differently. First i do transplant all my strains. I start them in much smaller container pots and nurse them for couple weeks. It takes much longer in my opinion for tiny roots and leaf to develop in large containers. I use just a CFL for light at about 6" I make my own mix of soil. Gotta be patient and pre think before just dropping a seed.
