Hello! I have another general plant update as a first time grower. The first time I posted this sad looking little seedling starving for light and everyone helped so much. My set up currently 3 plants in a small closet (no tent yet) the area is like maybe 2x3. I have 4 CFL bulbs that total about 100w total in this small area, with a fan. My oldest plant that is about 3 weeks old and she's a shrimp. I have them on 18/6 right now. Fox farm ocean soil, with pearlite, and have started nutes per other forums I'm on, and so far I haven't killed my plants. My question is should I put her in her final bucket and bury the rest of that baby stem so maybe the stalk will thicken up or is she too far behind? Nice green leaves, was told to not worry about yellowing coteyldon leaves. It looks like the plant may be getting top heavy. Doing distilled h20 for waterings. Should I give them time to get bigger? My two youngest plants have been in soil for 15 days. Still learning!

everything looks fine, in the seedling stage they don’t need much! just some water/feed (tiny) when dry!!
it’s about the roots right now when it gets into veg stage she should grow faster.
they two yellow cotyledon leaves means that the seedling has used up the nutrients that came with the seed to begin life..
just leave them be, you can look at them and talk to them. 😁

Ditto,
patience will be you’re best asset here.
you may want to think about using plastic instead of the paper starting cups next go around.
To answer your question about the stock, you can bury as much of it as you want at the next transplant. The cool thing about cannabis is that it will root when exposed to underground conditions. (It’s what allows us to clone it.)
stay the course man, make a plan for the next week or two to transplant and up size the pots.

They look healthy. You are on the right track. I will echo what others have told me, words to live by....
Patience, they are plants, they do the growing.
Just keep your low wattage lights close to your babies, resist the urge to water them till they are dry, root rot sucks, I learned this the hard way. Let those roots get big and healthy. Easy on the nutes. Watch your Ph!!!!!
