Looking up for some led light information

First time growing with led lights. I bought a spider farmer g3000 which is 300watts at 100%. I am in early vegetation I only use 25% actual 75watts, should I use more? My tent is 80cm x 80cm. Is there any rule of how much light wattage should you use in each growth stage? They don’t stretch tho.. my lights are 50cm from the tops.. If I increase the dim power they would grow faster? Really no clues guys need your help

Less is more in veg IMO, so many people blast there plants with light. Save the power for middle of flower.

I'm never over 40% and closer then 30" in veg, you're closer and at less wattage so probably close to the same.
If they're not stretching then you're good, you can turn it up 1 just to see if they can take it.
You can manipulate the height of your light and intensity to lower or raise temps as well. In the winter it's easier for me to keep the tents around 80 with my lights higher and intensity higher.
I do have heaters and such but I figure if I can go without running them, lower the power load a little.

I don't start increasing intensity until after the stretch, I'll start moving up 10%-20% each week (if plants allow it) until middle of flower. I run the lights the hardest in the middle of flower and start lowering light intensity toward harvest.

Could you tell by looking on them? I can send you a photo after I finish work.. But what do you mean by praying ?

Praying is when the leaves are pointing up at an angle to the light instead of being parallel with the ground or pointed down

So, is this one praying, does it need more light? They turned 4 weeks into flower Thursday. When they were seedlings, I blasted my 680 a little too close and 9 of my plants midgeted up and stayed short until flower, then they sped up. Because of that, my nodes are really pretty close, I’m thinking my buds will be tight as hell, I’m thinking at least 3 ounces per plant. Most of my tops are over 12 inches long and I’m thinking ima have a great harvest. Next time ima keep my lights high up and low wattage.

Look at those number ranges, they're double!!! So going by that chart double or half the amount of light is correct in all growing phases?

What we are talking about here are smaller adjustments within those ranges going by what the plant is telling us. The op seems to already understand they need to raise ppfd as they go.

But he doesn't KNOW what his par is...

Obviously they are only starting points, you still need to read the plant to fine tune it....

Just twisting a knob is a pretty crude way to do it

I'm not getting into praying leaves, there's a huge debate about it and no one really knows.
My tests shows praying has to do with how much the plant transpires, only 3 strains I've tested so far though.

As far as Par and Ppfd, growers have been reading the plants far before devices were even thought of that could read light levels.
Bud was way better then as well lol.

I will say that ppfd meters are good for reference points, not all genetics can take the same amount of light. We can't forget to factor in environment, nutrients, etc because that will effect how much light or ppfd a plant can take.

Bottom line is you need to know how to read the plant and if you can read the plant properly, you don't need any devices monitoring lighting or even nutrients. If you're always using devices and meters, you will never learn to read the plant.

If you don't think reading the plant is important, then blast your plants with 1000 ppfd in flower and all should be good...

IMO praying leaves is a Good Thing, my Maui Wowie was praying and growing 3" per day !
