Holy cow .. and I'm supposed to feed these guys today ! PGC has been angry a bit lately soil is compact so I aerated it. She really didn't care for the heat last two days so she is in the shade , only early morning sun. Glue and LSD going fine happy barely have to do anything too . They both require less water . Had some white flies snooping around so I treated last night . Didnt see any this morning . It's hot so pretty normal . They come I treat and then they go usually . The LSD has definitely decided to play catch up fast .

My little lady friend she is always around chilling out

I’ve got a lot of mud daubers buzzing around here! Their little mud nest are in just about everything that is hanging! But they paralyze an insect and lay an egg on it and seal it up inside their mud chamber! So I consider them friends! They are docile as far as wasps go!

So ... Here is something I did .

The original glue is getting quite large so to spread the canopy open more . I had the idea to tie wire to the red clips to pull her open . However, I'm short on wire at the moment to do it evenly...

Then I thought why not just add some weight... Something I can take off when it rains but let's them get more sun in the interior when it's available..

My wooden spreader bar from last year don't really work for there structure this year

So last year my hubby made me some big S hooks out of something.. for harvest hanging , but they are pretty heavy. So I just hung them, like fishing weights on the red clips .

Omg they are ...already paranoia is starting and yeah for real , I have invasive bamboo in the back yard , I could use a crash course in using that to my advantage..

What neck of the woods do you reside? I'm in NE Ohio west of Akron, your weather appears the same forecast
