Question on sacrifice ... Say that branch does die ... What steps should I take to remove it and clean it ... So it doesn't rot the stalk from cutting it an an open wound ? I ask cause last year I had a stalk die... Removed it and it festered. I sterilized my scissors... But it was almost like it needed ..a bandaid to cover the wound. You could always sacrifice a few of those lower branches.......twice the size of last years plants
Put a small fan at the base of your pot and blow up into the inside of the plant. You could tie the lower branches up to the main stalk and they may help hold thongs together
Plants are looking great bro!!!
Sounds good! I thought there might be a sort of styptic powder in theory for plants ... Like the way they seal tree limbs with paint ...sealer . Was thinking of globbing some aloe on it this time ..if it comes to that. Last year it worked well on one that split . But wasn't sure if that was a thing or not .I have always just cut the branch off clean with an Olfa knife about a half inch from the main stalk. Perhaps use a real Band Aid!? I just cut it and leave it alone
Thank you!!!You are doing fantastic, considering. Are you still swapping them in and out of the sun?
How are you able to do that, physically I mean. They get soooo top heavy. Be careful! (mom voice) LOL
All of my GG4 is coming down next week. They all flowered so fast this year! All of my glue strains have that yellowish look.Glue
Getting a steady fade of foliage ... Yellowing. Leaves , just popping them off everyday Progressive from bottom up .. always seems to be on the side that gets full sun for the day. Bud weight is making the branch drop to the porch floor plus whatever Internal breakage she got from the rain the other day , so I imagine it's getting cooked from bounce back and a combo of broken insides. I'm just rotating her like a rotisserie chicken, when I'm around . Fed them yesterday... Doing what I can . Tops Looking good imo... Temps dropped nicely , was what I was hoping for planting later this year ... I have 4 weeks before I have to consider removing them from the porch.
Next year photos I'm gonna run April 1 , I wish I was about 2 weeks further along than I am now .
Can't wait for one of theese to be gone so I can try my luck at an auto ..with my little light .
Right now they are pretty stationary .. unless it storms . I go out and turn them around on the grate .. On the grate they actually kinda slippery.Thank you!!!Yeah some , hubby took me a roof photo so I'm not as scared now to put them in the sun. But they take up ALot of room this year . Like wish I had known that's what they looked like from above . All this time! Probably better cause they would probably be larger with full sun.
But I just slide them ... Slowly , Last year I learned quick where all the roof catch spots are . So I just have a path I follow looking at the ground . Tile floor makes them slide well with the grate they are on. Recycled pet cage doors from my chinchilla cage . I grab the handle .... It slides the pot catches the lip of grate and it slides. Without to much whip back.
Last year wheels was bad .. grout caught the wheels made them tip
