Thanks ! My LST skills are ...poor but I just try to keep them manageable while trying things. The LSD last year was super thin plant . Slow grower , So I'm not going to top it let it Christmas tree out basically. Maybe gonna try some tomato cages this year as an insert to tie them off too. Help them handle rain better.

Tomato cage is a good idea, I've seen others use them. But be careful 'cause it might make them more tipsy.
You really need some of those roll around bases when you have to move them in and out of the weather.

I’m not a fan of putting the pots directly into those bowls! I would think about cutting some one by ones and set the pot on top of them in the bowl just to get a little airflow underneath them also! Or something of that nature! Just something to chew on!

Yes I had that thought too. Have the husband working on that in the shed We were kicking around ideas. Building a wooden platform for them possibly. Slightly elevated and vented . Got them because I was worried about me having to scoot them out of heavy weather and ripping them on the bottom against the tile . Wasn't sure if I could lift up or move the weight.

Just a couple pieces of wood in the bowls should work OK! And you can still slide them to your little hearts content!

Thanks for the tip Mr Oldchucky, I have a bunch of 1×2×8 wood slats that will help me slide the pots

If it becomes too difficult, you will figure something out! Believe me! Lol! If I have to slide my pots around, for any distance, I have adopted the old Egyptian way of getting their blocks to the pyramids! But I used 2 inch PVC cut to about 2 1/2 feet And keep putting the one that comes out the back back up into the front and rolling them along! About three or four per pot we’ll get them moved pretty easily! Once you get them started! Lol! necessityis the mother of invention!

I'm still going to use the slats for little extra ventilation.

They are when they’re soaking wet! I worn holes in the bottom of a few, but they still work! When you get to be our age, you have to think about the consequences of every move! Worst case scenarios take precedence! Getting too old to get a second chance! the Egyptian way may be slow and cumbersome, but a good back is a precious commodity and needs to be treated as so!

Week 5
Over cast last two days . On off sun showers . So they got some sprinkles . Gave first dose of liquid nutes yesterday. However mixed in some cultivation nation veg in the dirt at transplant.

Tore the house apart !!! can't find any of my LST clips / supplies ...they have literally walked away , probably a sign so I ordered some more . Gonna try
