Jacks is the way!

As others have mentioned the lucas ratios are way off.

Ive posted more nug shots of frosted huge buds grown with Jacks than most farmers. All of my plants are currently grown with Jacks.

No one on the Farm can touch what Ive done with Jacks with their lucas mix in hydro. If so lets see some pictures and smoke reports.

Jacks cost more to ship than to buy if you live on the west coast.

what is this jacks you speak off? is it a nute line? or what? and also where can i see your nug pics and plant pics? curious to see.

Vangs, go to jrpeters.com, its the website for Jacks. There is a hydroponic section, go there and look at there stuff. The Jacks people on here talk about is the one with a 5-12-26 NPK value. Mix that with Calcium Nitrate, Epsom salt and there Micro mix to build a complete nutrient solution of your own ratio, good luck.

Capulator has a thread in the Nutrients section and he uses Jacks. He has pics.

so the LUCAS FORMULA does not provide for 100% of the plants nutritional needs? ...makes you wonder why there is such a thing as a LUCAS FORMULA if it don't provide 100% of the plants nutritional needs huh?

My question about the LUCAS formula: we don't need to use a PK booster like KOOLBLOOM with the LUCAS formula because the LUCAS formula already has enough PK and adding more PK like koolbloom would be over doing it?

I'm wondering the same thing m8ty. I've been looking into the Lucas formula and wondering if I should try it or Mel Franks flora feeding schedule next? I've been trying a bunch of different feeding schedules lately for flora series. Not really a noob to growing as I've been doing it for yrs. but I am at the same time. Do to the fact I haven't done real researching about NPK until about 3-4 months ago in my spare time. I don't mind using the extra bottle of nutes as I already have it. That's why I will be sticking to the flora series until it's gone. If it's not giving the plants what they need then does that mean Mel Franks nutrient profile is wrong...lol? After reading Mel Franks nutrient profile I have been really getting to it and researching about NPK and found some awesome stuff out there on the web. Most recently found Harley Smith/ NPK University's videos on YouTube to be awesome and very informative!

i wondered about that as well but i doubt he will anwser ur post as his post was in 2011 lol

I love this. Good fun. That one guy knew so much that the aliens took him to study his brain. That is why he hasn’t returned to explain himself or post his magic formula.

My copycat plants are frosty az heck atm in Lucas/heads formula for coco I give calimagic with it not the Epsom salt although I could this method has been the best method I've used yet we should have a recipe that can work for all plants and mediums with if any a small tweek if genetics are more hungry than others just alot of people don't want to give up the good nute recipes cause let's be real ppl that are growing them big rock hard buds are doing it for themselves it's for their pocket when this should be about helping the new growers out I'm in 3 yrs now I've done Gaia green organics worm castings compost and all and this is my first coco run I like it I just don't like charging it so I may get bags next not bricks . Peatmoss aks regular soul I haven't got used to yet
