Quarantine your cuts and treat with Neem oil for a week or so. It also helps to have your garden as clean as a hospital room. That means no spilled dirt, dead fans in your pots or on the floor, etc.

Cleanliness is godliness and getting any kind of mite infestation will fuck your shit up, real quick.
