i clean it about once a month cause it will build up a lil white stuff, prob calcium... i use ro water in it, and just recycle it just like outside, esp with my higher rh, now i just need c02 and hook my ac up so i can pin point this room EXACTLY!no that water is clean
as long as you keep the dehuey clean it is just osmosis
if you are worried drip some H2O2 in it
