Think of waves across a field of grass as the wind blows . The pine trees are the grasses. I`m not sure what the wind speed is but it keeps changing directions and comes in waves. Lots of swishing sounds and the sound of trees breaking and up rooting in each wave. Very loud in between the sound of nothingness, It`s like being out in the open sea. The place where I`m at seems protected from most of the wind but you can see the tree tops bending with each wave. The dogs are going nuts and after this may not have any voice anymore as the near by bear seem to run from each wave of wind breaking branches each time . Somehow the tunnels seem to bend with the flow of air and bounce back into shape after each wave(so far). Hardly any of the hung cola have fell off the lines stretched under them. The humidity has dropped 20+ % and is dropping drying everything in the forest to almost pre-rain levels. If nothing else it`s giving me a forced break as I really don`t want to be struck by falling branches or knocked to the ground repeatedly. But this too will pass and I`ll be able to clean up under drifts of branches, Pine needles and pine cones. I`ll see the other side and be back to work when mother nature wishes... and no sooner.

The wind is dying down. Hope it`s gone by tomorrow. We got a mess to cleanup and lots of work to catch up on. My feet are almost useless and really having problems walking. Going to the hospital soon as I get caught up. Can`t help thinking they will want to cut them off. Hip is better but my back is hurting now. I worked on the dehydrator thinking it wasn`t working until I realized I don`t have it vented to the outside. I`ll need it working before the next storm! Maybe something not working right in my head as well as my feet, LOL!

My feet are swollen and red with inflammation. Not like gout but mostly numb. I can`t move my toes and the ankles are stiff. Can`t stand on them or walk very far. My hips were also very sore but are better while my lower back hurts now. It`s a flair up of my AS/RA.

My son is doing most of the work around here. Then there hasn`t been much we could do with the storm and now the very windy conditions we still have. The buds we were drying got moist again when it rained because we ran out of fuel for the generator and couldn't run the dehydrator. Every since it`s been god coffle windy. That has dried thinks out again though. It looks like rain coming again so today I need to set up inside the shed to do some fine trimming and get the dehydrator vented for the coming storm. We will then take turns between fine trimming and drying in the shed. One side will be boxes of` dried on the bone` buds under the dry lines and the other boxes of trimmed jarred buds curing above the drying buds on the line. The front will have a table ,chairs and light to trim at. Generator will be running nearly 24/7 until this harvest gets done! I can still sit so I`ll be able to trim if my back holds out. My son also has a bad back so it`s like the blind leading the blind. I may have to get one of the trimmers back up here. It`s just there isn`t any other place for them to sleep except the tent and it`s so dam cold at night. Also there won`t be a lot of room in the front of the shed for more that one or two to work.

Bunch of us growers did some target practice all at once around 9am and we haven`t heard much from them after that. They keep showing up every few days and cause a stir each time they do. I found bare foot prints on the road one morning! An other time I`m way down the road at the creek and one shows up on my land shooting his 9mm. Guy was in thin cotton shorts, wife beater, and sandals in the woods, kept falling down and dropping his gun. He was yelling at me but couldn`t hear very well over the pump. When he got to me he lightened up when he saw my gun on my belt.

I guess they tried to run the growers next to me off there own land awhile back. Came right into the grow armed and accused them of being on there land. The tweekers don`t even own any land near here, they are squatters. What asses! They got every grower near here all armed up and we have been having meetings. Everyone is now looking out for each other.

Poor old man, he's been hobbling around here at camp.

I burned some sage around him, I'm 1/19 and a half Cherokee ;) and sang him some Native American sounding gibberish...but that didn't seem to work.

Then I tried to heal him with motivation. I made him a sandwich and then when he came up to get it I backed away several steps. He hobbled forward....and I backed away again...wiggling the sandwich at him. I did this several times but gave up when I realized the only results was a stream of obscenities.

Next I am going to try an exorcism, cause I figure, hey.....maybe a demon is messing up his legs, you know...those infamous leg demons.

I'm going to wait until he is asleep...and then I am going to whap him in the head with a Bible and shout "The Power of Christ compels you!!" a few times. That ought to do the trick.

Man, my Dad sure is lucky to have me around to help him out with this sort of stuff! :D

(in all seriousness he is going to see a doctor as soon as he can, we are working our butt's off right now)

It froze last night for the first time. I`m going to see if I can get one of my trimmers back up here today. Stuff hanging in the tunnels are dry enough to box and store in the shed and I need to get a new dehydrator as it looks like rain coming on Thanksgiving. Can`t have it getting moist again every time the air gets humid. I`m still lame so I`ll need the help. I`m a little better, my back and hips anyway. Feet still stiff and sore but numb. Want to fine trim as much as possible ,soon as possible. Once it`s jarred up it can`t get moist again unless it`s left open during the rain.

Taking the day off from trimming. Got a room with a kitchen and ordered a turkey dinner. Going to have the kids over ,eat, smoke, and take a long soak in the tub. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving today!

I`m feeling a little better now but still my feet hurt like hell and can`t stand/walk very far. Looks like good weather for sure but it`s getting cold at night and will be getting colder. I have the 4-way in the shed and the heater works when the generator is on so that will help. Also got one trimmer up staying in the tent until it gets to cold at night then he`s gone. Lots to get done !

Light rain and sub-zero temps tonight. Continue to hurt but getting around. Been trimming but our last trimmer is leaving today as it`s to cold at night in the tent. Son and I will keep plugging along at it. Hope to get a 6 month lease in the valley and do the rest in confort for the winter. I`ll be back and forth as needed and maybe sometimes to get more personal space. I knd of used to being by myself and only make trips to town for supplies. Not sure how I`ll handle a house near town. Will like having power and being able to grow some mothers and make clones again. I`ll have early plants instead of late ones for next year!
