I`m back now. Three days and two nights with only cat naps in the back of the Blazer. No time for rest though out of water and all the chores to do. Picked up some more clones for the garden that also need planting. I should have enough now. One of the caged 275 gal tanks may have a leak ! Never ends.

No leak that I see. Only got one tank of water then broke the plastic intake adapter on the Honda pump. I`ll check out getting a new one and use the 12v pump if I have to for now. It`s going to take a lot longer and I need to put a charge on the battery first.

I picked up some Gorilla Glue 4 , Skywalker, Jews Gold, Animal Cookies, Orange Cookies, and some OJ x GSC clones to go with what I have on my trip South. Should have enough for the grow now plus some :-) .

I`m going to have to take a trip to town in the morning. The power steering is out in the truck and hard to tug on, need new fittings for the Honda water pump, a new battery charger, should pick up an other 12v pump and maybe an other 12v solar panel/charger/inverter. I also would like to look at an old water truck with 1800 gal tank on it. I could use it to fetch water, fire/dust control and water storage on wheels. It would take forever to fill from my little creek but there are some other creeks around I might try until later when they dry up.

I`m very worried about my dog Brute. While away down south my son told me Brute was snapping at him every time he went to pet him. My son had just took him for a long walk just before I left with no problems. When I returned he greeted me and I petted him as normal. Now he won`t let me touch him! He doesn`t seem sick at all , I just don`t understand . He seems friendly until you go to touch him , then he growls and snaps at you like a warning. Other than that he seems fine and does all the same things as normal all day. I can`t have a dangerous dog in camp. My grandchildren visit me here every once in a while. I don`t think I can get him to a vet the way he is. I`m very worried. I have know idea what I`ll do. He`s eating good ,about how he always does when it warms up, just at night. Drinks plenty of water and will still chase my tires on the truck and fetch a stick. He even acts friendly until you put out your hand. I just bought a wire pet cage so I can take him in to be fixed and his shots are do but there isn`t anyway to get him off his chain now. Any suggestions ? What could be wrong with him?

I got everything done I set out to do in town today, a first! I even picked up a cassette deck so I can play some of my old stuff and bought treats for Brute. I gave him the treats and didn`t try to pet him at all. Then fed him some new dog chow and gave him some fresh water. I didn`t get any growls from him just a bunch of tail wags. I`ll keep being nice to him and give him positive vibes. I can wait until he`s feeling good and ready for attention. But if he snaps at me he will get a cup of water tossed at him. He hates water tossed at him and will back off if I even hold a cup around him. I`m not going to let him graduate to biting me !

Got a new 12v pump and parts for the Honda pump also got two new solar chargers for the motorhome`s engine and shore batteries. I`ll work on some house cleaning tonight and go for water tomorrow. I can`t transplant any of the new clones yet because they just got watered and the soil would fall off of them in the process. They are also needing to get used to full sunlight first. I`ll take thoughts pictures as soon as I can plant everything. Everything seems to be working out here but there is so much that needs to get done. My son should return sometime tomorrow. Hope he`s rested up.

Mark is Brute chain stake to the ground or do you have it connected to a over head cable running between two trees. If you have to keep a dog chain it is best to use the over Head method it gives him more room to move and fight bears. Glad he seems better

Just fed him and Brute came over and looked like he wanted petted but soon as I touched him he growled at me and snapped in the air. He doesn`t seem to be hurt or sick at all. I just don`t get it. He chases motorcycles and cars and I keep him chained up except for walks. I haven`t been able to walk him with my leg problems for some time. When my son came up this season He walked him a couple of times and he was fine. He greeted me as usual when I returned but my son said he had growled at him while I was away. Now he won`t let anyone touch him. He seems to want to be friendly enough until you touch him. How can I get him to the vet for his shots? How can I take him into be fixed and how can I get him a bath? I miss my old Brute and just want to be able to give him affection . Maybe he`s sore from the walks? I`ll give him a few more days and see if he gets better. After that I need to contact a vet or something. If needed maybe I can get a tranquilizer gun so I can get him to a vet.

They use Valium in the vet office for anesthesia, xanax is safe for dogs as are the sea sickness pills can't remember their name. Just dose him up and muzzle him while he sleeps and get that dog to the vet. It could be something as simple as a broken tooth, but could be cause by Distemper, brain tumor, other neurological problem, rabies, etc. Those are worst case scenarios. I had a dog that had a stroke and became very mean to strangers not to me but it definitely changed him. Hope your boy gets better, get him to the vet man. Has he been consuming plenty of fluids?

A vet or dog trainer would put a dog muzzle on to handle the dog ,Some times its not easy to do. Baked Edibles?

He`s eating and drinking well. He acts normal in all other ways. Looks healthy. Even acts friendly ,comes up wagging his tail and scoots his butt towards you like a typical pit bull wanting affection. Only growls when you touch or go to touch him. He`s fine when you walk around him and when feeding or picking up his poop. He still plays with the other dogs ( Fixed male or female). Only time he has ever been aggressive has been with unfixed males and he hates cars and bites tires.

there is no end of insects that he could have got into up here. Wasps , scorpions and spiders of every kind to name a few. Trying to get ahold of a good vet to discus symptoms and possible treatments. I`m going to need to drug him to get him in to be checked. Depending on diagnosis I also want him fixed, shots licensed and a good bath. I was thinking I`d use the same puppy shampoo I used on him in the kitchen sink the day I got him. It`s a mild no tears organic puppy shampoo and he may remember the smell later. Hope it is calming to him. He has tender skin but a high pain threshold. I also want to give him some tick and flea medication. He doesn`t need wormed. My son came home today and played fetch the stick with him and he loved it. He just doesn`t want touched.

Brute doesn`t seem to be in major pain or sick , I`m going to give him a few days and just keep a watch on him. I need to fill my tanks of water and get my plants in the ground. Also need to get completely moved into the motor home so my son can get all his stuff inside the trailer before Thursday as there maybe be a thunderstorm in the area.

Brute`s About 5 yrs. old. My son keeps Brute on his left when walking him. I haven`t been able to walk him in some time due to my health. It`s possible he has sore muscles from long walks back on back after not being walked in a while. It would explain him not wanting to be touched. He is one big muscle anyway then ad being sore from those walks .., That`s why I want to give him a few days more to rest up. It did start the day after his second walk. Wonder if a dog can take Soma?
