Ohio..!! Same here. I'm in the UCLA area. ( Upper Canton , Lower Akron ) How did u prep your soil. ( Amend ) How long have they been in.
Im mainly organic. I amended my soil with peat moss, pearlite, composted horse and cow manure, and raw fish buried in a ring around the plants. I've top dressed with the manure and coffee grinds mixed with egg shells, and a little splash of miracle grow, for craps n laughs. Other than that....rain water.

If u have good soil, you won't need much. Feed the soil...not the plant, in my case. We're not too far off from from the beginning of flowering up here, depending on what you're growing. So if your soil is poor, u might want to think about a bloom booster, like blood meal or something. JMO

Depends on soil. I have friends that till in manure and mulch to gardens in early spring and feed little to none with good results. This is my 1st year attempting outdoor. I dug about 15-20 gallon holes and filled with a mix of original soil with re-used potting mix with perlite for fluff. I mixed in dr earth veg into this mixture. About a month ago started to top dress with veg every 2 weeks. They are loving it so far.

Only difference I do is dig a ditch to the hard pan around my plants, about the circumference of your pots. Then fill them with raw fish, and mound up around the plants.

Great advice ^^^^^, also avoid fish or crab meals/emulsions, and also molasses. The trash pandas and possums will tear the roots up.

I've used raw fish in my garden for years with little interaction with the wild life. Though when I do, they typically become plant food. Like this fella who was gnawing at my green beans. Let alone digging under my man cave.

Good advice. Ill add same goes for dr earth also. Raccoon kept digging in our prepped holes prior to planting. Climbed over the chain link enclosure to get at it. Sad to say it became fertilizer soon after.

I try and avoid anything that smells! It doesn’t sit well with me to bait an innocent animal in and then kill it! I think the grower has a little bit of responsibility in that respect! And it’s possible! if you would pop for a hot wire set up and add it to that fence they wouldn’t climb over it!

Yah I'm in Akron I got 4 . 2 legendary punch , 1 northern lights and one pink must soil is okay but not the best. Lol has alot of dog poo and then I'm using lotus brand fertilizer but I ran out so I'm confused what to use now . The northern light with the light fence behind it is right about 6 ft already. Had them started and indoors for month of May and transferred to in ground beginning of June. And those pics are today

FYI best dr earth bang for buck I've found is Walmart.com 12 lb bags flower girl and home grown (veg) under $25 each and free shipping compared to normally around $12-$15 per 4 lb bag. Great outdoor ferts. Indoors have a fungus gnat plan.

They look good. For sure. Being u didn't seem to amend with much ahead of time, I'm not sure what I'd put on them, but I'd probably start leaning towards something for flower. Coming real soon around here. Late July early August.

Was the dog poo fresh, might not be good for u. Manure needs composted so it's not a biological hazard. Just say it's got some Labrador strain in it.

I build my soil with all kinds of stuff. . In the fall I burn all my brush, and rototiller it and leaves into the garden, along with grass clippings.
Then again in the spring with remaining leaves and gutter cleanings. Build mounds with soil, peat moss, perlite, composted manure, and raw fish (2, 5 gal. Buckets full for 3 plants. More the better). Bury those around the outer ring of the mounds (deep to keep critters away) and increase the size of the mound to cover the fish. Things are layered for the growth stages, in a sense. I'll top coat with manure for the most part, and some granulated organic fertilizer, along with egg shells and coffee grinds as they accumulate weekly. Last couple weeks I've stopped top dressing, and letting it do it's thing. I've thought about a organic bloom supplement, but don't think I'll need it, with all I've rotated into the soil. Plenty of critters make it in, so there's plenty of bones n scales giving the nutes needed for bloom.....I hope. This is my first grow as for cannabis goes. Grown many other things in the garden, and part of my family's heritage. I had 3 this year, but one grew balls. So hard killing something after u put so much care for, raising it from seed. So I have California Orange 4'+, and White Buffalo 6'+. Today's pic.

This is my 2nd year of growing. Last year I just grew 1 to see if I could do it . I use a seed company called royal seeds or whatever and they and guarantee their seeds to be feminized and haven't got a male yet . I got referred to them by another grower that's been doing it for years . They are not horrible price so it's worth it to not play the guessing game. Last year I grew pink runtz and it gave me around a pound from one plant. I used Miracle-Gro last year and beginning of this year with the pellets you put down when I take the rototiller and mixed the dirt up and it seems to get a good starting point and then I got Miracle-Gro for blooms and assumed to work last year but I'm trying to do it different this year with organic fertilizers I see a whole bunch of online and just don't really know what the ones to get

Also idk why my plants are different heights by decent amounts . LG punch is like 4' northern light is 6'+ and pink must is like in between. Same soil. Also do you got problems with Japanese beetles or "plant hoppers"

it's genetics! Some strains, like Fat Mazzy, are mature at 2 and 1/2 feet, while others, like Moby, grow up to 9 feet. Welcome to the world of choosing the right strain for the right conditions.

Yah I read somewhere my northern lights could get up to 12' . I've topped them then younger and it seemed to spread them out more but the og punch is the bushy one like the runts I grew last year. This year I just went on the site and picked randomly
