Mephisto genetics? Is the hype justified?

I saw a decent 420 deal for mephisto on North Atlantic, and picked 3x "creme de la Chem", and 3x freebie cross seeds for BOGO. I'm very excited to try them out regardless of how this thread goes, but I am wondering if I just went with them because of their popularity on my time on the Reddit forums. What's up with their popularity on reddit? The plants always look very nice, but I never see a string of mephisto posts here on the forums and I'm just curious if the hype is for good reason, or a bit overblown there for whatever reason.

I just harvested crème de la chem wasn’t a big plant but came out very tasty they are very temperamental and I think I stunted it a little so I just popped a new seed

5 years ago it was a hit around my parts everybody was growing them it was one specific strain as well but i forgot its name.no idea how are they now.
Somethimes companies jump the hype train and chase the thc numbers and forget all the rest

Mephisto has some of the best autos in the business. Ive had good luck with their gear. I recently harvested a Forum Stomper x Sour Crack freebie that is very good.

FYI they usually have some good deals on the Mephisto website for 4/20.

I'm still a noob so if you have any tips for your experience with the strain itself I'd be very grateful

If you want good autos go with Mephisto for sure. I like the canna cheese so much I'm going to try to self the last two seeds I have because it's not available anymore.

I just finished with 4 Grappa Auto from Mephisto via North Atlantic Seed. Curing in jars now some are on their 3rd wk of cure. I've done lots of autos and these were very easy to grow. Yes they were small only about 20" harvested between 80-90 days from seed. 250watt LED i'm happy with the smoke from early cure. Another month and outta be even better if i can wait which i can't LOL

I just ran their 3 bears OG for the 1 gal competition here, was a small plant but omg it was such a tasty smoke! I miss her :(
