Will plants flower better outdoors if you give them nice darknshade 2 say 3 hours before sundown?

Im talkin about full sun then shade the sun down. No light in between shade and sundown...

I was told shade a few hours before sundown was better, that being if they got full sun up to that point

Hey I just read some where in Michigan I believe it was Northern Mich. They gave out their first cannabis, business license. The state is still waiting for the second one to be inquired about. Although it is only for use with edibles oils etc. It's a start!

not sure if we are posting indoor. But from the ones that survived outdoor. Heres the pool of genetic tents. Took several locations to maintain it through the season to keep it legal. So will see what comes of the crosses. Doing 2 strains in 2 tents with 1 tent where each has a male. So will see how far i get through winter til next season. At least now for the most part most of us arent growing for crop through winter. So leaves lots of room to experiment. Will have 3 people running their limit on the outcome to see what we can find. Keep them yooper seeds rolling. Til i find that super frosty ice hardened sativa I want

edit: 3rd strain and tent will be setup tomorrow. Just have to wait for limits.

Aphids! I have aphids late in flower. I think I am at least two weeks from harvest. I am starting to see aphids on underside of some of my leaves. My plant is huge. I can't reach most of the leaves. Some of my leaves are yellowing towards inside of plant. Any suggestions - does it matter this late in game?

Aphids are def a problem here but also part of growing outdoors.
This is why it's important to be proactive...you can get a couple thousand lady bugs off amazon really cheap.
They do an amazing job.

Please dont spray poison...

About 4 weeks ago I released 4500 lady bugs - they definitely helped with the spider mites. They all flew off after though. I guess I could order another bunch. I've removed most of the yellow leaves. I'm not spraying anything except water with a little dishwashing soap - but they don't slide off easily...and I am too short to reach the top ones. They seem to like the bigger leaves.

Looks like something called "yellow leaf sepatora*" not positive but I feel like it is what I had last month early in flower. A fungus and all my leaves started rapidly turning yellow out of nowhere. I feed heavier, made sure soil stayed moist, and sprayed with peroxide, heavy defoliation, and then a regimine with flying skull nuke em fungicide (safe for flower.) Seemed to help control everything and plants are finishing strong.

so yeah they handled 30 last night and i threw together a make shift. Gotta say im not disappointed in it. Just need to shorten the flower period but the frost genetics are there from the handful that survived.

will hit 27f tonight and i dont know if i want to keep stressing them in cold. I think what i wanted was achieved. if i had extra set of hands id finish them indoors. Since i didnt get them in a greenhouse proper this year. ;)

its a good thing they are all in a genetic cycle and we will see what we can do playing around.

**edit* fixed photo upload issue.

Nasty weather for the next few days so I added a few more inches of manure on and then about 4 inches of raked up leaves. I watered with some silica...now I wait.
