Mimed’s Perpetual Thread

Teaspoon is 5 ml. 5ml = 5grams. 2.5g per 5 gal. So I would say 0.5gram per gal. Cant you just take 28.375g an oz and × by 1.6 giving you 45.4 total grams per 300 gal. ÷ 45.4 by 300 giving you .151 multiply it by 5 giving you .755..or am i off for some...

Growing faster now.

Except for the little Heri-jacks seedlings. They are not stretching like i expect. Leaves are bigger but they stay short so far.

They are hard to spot, but if you really look you'll see them. This is on the side of a pot. Had to cut through the pot to get a good view of what was going on inside. If you think you have fungus gnats, you need to get a good loupe and do some serious scouting. They look very similar, but i will take fungus gnats anyday.

Pics tonight. The baby Herijuana x Jack 33’s top filled and fed and some fresh salsa made and canned by Mrs. MMG.

Funny how the solution to grow issues is often simple and environment related.

I have been having stress i keep thinking is from the circulation fans. I have a lot of air flow going on in there but always was for mature plants. I have tried pointing them up more.

The little ones are getting more stressed as they grow up and i move them closer to the fixed lamps. The fan wind up there at the mature canopy height is significant on the young plants.

So my dumb ass just turned the clip fans to low. They have been set to high for years. Duh!

Im watching for the temp to rise but really should be no problem.

So lets see if it fixes this leaf stress.

Wel lowering the clip fan speed helped calm the leaves down.

The BLT’s and BW x BLT’s are growing bigger faster now.

One of the Citral x Pow 33’s is showing some lightening of color and some light striping since her 1 gallon transplant last night. Maybe a bit too much nutes in that pot.

And the Herijuana x Jack 33 seedlings are doing fine but the soil needs to be scratched up a bit on top as it is holding too much water and turned the perlite orange.

And a full pic this morning. Half way through their light cycle.

It's wild to me as a grower who has only ever grown under one light to see how plants react to different spectrums. Are these still under a blue heavy spectrum? The spacing is just a lot longer. I know that's what you want and are used to, it's just wild for me lol.

Hey MMG, is this the first time you grew Sannie's cross with the Heri? Haven't tried the cross with the Jack, but the Heri strain has gotta be one of the strongest Indica there is.....just really kinda bland in taste, which I guess is why he crossed it with Jacks?

Looking good!

You will have them tuned up with Nitrous soon!! If I didn't have some sorta issue when starting up new plants......I would be VERY worried!!! LOL!!

Thats the hortilux 600w blue. Honestly I have never vegged with this bulb or in this room except for 12/12 grows. The t-5’s i was using in the 3x3 veg tent grew a bit more compact plants.

I will be using a 315 cmh dimmed to 90% in the veg tent for future plants. 90% for temp reasons. No outside exhaust in the veg room.

Thats not sannie heri. Its the original. Ch9 got it from motarebel. And the Jack is old sensei seed stock. But its actually a cubed mix of sensei plants. Jack herrer, power plant, hash plant and afgan or maybe mazar. I forget exactly. Its from his old catalog.

It tastes terrible in most phenos in my opinion and can smell worse but weirdly its mrs. Mmg’s favorite strain so far.

The best pheno smells like coffee mostly but still bad flavor. Imo. ;-)

Ok the taller plants are now 27” from the glass and they are all pretty directly under the lamp.

This should help boost the side branching.

Nah. I decided to use up the cmh bulbs i already have. I have to start getting a return again before i can afford new lights.

I am really considering doing cmh 315’s with the prices so low on them. I can buy 3 sets with reflector ballast and bulb for the price of one top line led. Even with bulbs every 18 months i have to consider them.

I think with 3 in my 7’ x 3.5’ area i could match the 2 600’s. Or if i cram 4 in it would step things up some.

If you can afford the heat that sounds like a great option.

It would be less heat for the same production at 945 watts instead of 1200. I will have to re work the exhaust to deal with the open reflectors.

There once was this guy name MiMed, who told me months back, “stretch = yield, shhhh but don’t tell the newbies.” Haha looking great over there..

LOL, I had a plant that just finished, and it stretched like mad, I was so worried. It seems to have done just fine. I'm glad I didn't mess with it.

Yep. Pretty sure Mimed has said it himself, stretch = yield. I'd much rather have to plan for an overly vigorous plant than to baby something and give it an extended veg because it barely stretches.
