This weekend I found my first battle with the borg......:(

I was using FFOF

Dam, they came on quick, but once again I found where I noticed symptoms and didn’t ask :face palm:
I thought the "rough" leaves were the remaining after effects of burning them a few weeks ago. Well I happened to pull a leaf and run it under the scope and those bitches looked up and said * :animal0012::harvest:

Then I said *:swear:swear:swear

After treatment

So I went and got some battle gear. I started with pulling everything out and doing a bleach/water cleaning of the tent and all gear.
Also grabbed 1500 lady bugs for the future.

I picked up some of this, which states kills both the mite and the eggs. And I also replaced my hotshots. (I think that’s where I screwed up, as my previous ones were 3-4 months old) The instructions show 2 applications 3 days apart for total eradication. and then once a month for maintenance.

Then I mixed up my dip and made this...

25 gallon tub
350GPH pump with a watering wand pointed up.
Everyone got not only dunked but, a shower. Over all they seem ok this morning. A few curled leaves but nothing major. They all are popped back up and looking happy. I’ll be watering today.

I also picked up some foggers for flea/tick/flies/squito etc to bomb my shop just for shits and giggles.

hopefully this handles the issue. This being my first soil grow has been a learning experience....

How about fungus gnats, and mites, and root aphids take a pick. I fukkn hate their "soils" it's selling only from it's yesteryear rep, that shit is garbage now, it doesn't look, feel, or smell like it used to and back in the day you had to cut it with a base soil or you'd fry the shit out your ladies, nowadays people plant straight in it. I stopped using it 2 years ago after I got root aphids, cause I'd rather battle mites than those mofos again anyday

i would rather buy cheap soil and ad my own nutrients and kill my own bugs. If you transplant with some kind of soil bug killer and then boost your roots and living organisms you will be fine.

it looks like your girl had the bugs before the transplant maybe. I have zero complaints about ocean forest and have used it for years for my topsoil mix and for one gallon plants.

During my last grow the friggin hurricane happened on day fifty eight ..i had to chop up a tree in my yard and I brought these fuckers inside..man it was the worst possible thing , but thankfuly at the best possible time..i ended up chopping on day sixty when I noticed em spreading..
Afyer harvest I waited a month then vacumed my five by five, then I bleached everything, then I vacumed then I soaked everything with alcohol and then vacumed..i am now on day thirteen of my next flowering stage and I been like a hunter looking and havnt found any..im hoping that if they havnt come back in over a month, as long as I keep doing what im doing they wont come back...please god dont come back..that looks like a small infestation did they brown the leaf like that? All I had was small white spots on the inner smaller leafs..i could see those fuckers moving though..skeevy little creeps
