..and the latest drivel from the talking heads is... FOUR year terms for congressmen? Because... they campaign too much to govern?!? Are they KIDDING?! Since when was that a better outcome than actually DOING WHAT THEY'RE ELECTED FOR?! Why does the entrenched advantage of incumbency need to be even further protected from a poorly represented and disenfranchised voting public?!?

I honestly believe that our vote does not even count. I think voting is rigged.

i think its hysterical that we are expecting the system to change itself and make itself more honest and ethical. its a corrupt system and these people were depending on to "be the capitan to right our ship" (dumbass obama) have been doing the same shit since regan, nothings changed except how much we have riding on it

Voting gives us "the illusion" that we have choice. We Don't! (ala George Carlin)

The global owners run the show. Honestly I am surprised they haven't whacked Ron Paul yet. (classic plane crash, suicide, overdose, car crash or "The lone assassin scenario"

I hate to say it but Barrack is once again the lesser of three evils. Mitt and Newt are corporate hacks to the Nth power. Barrack is a sackless politician who threw the mmj community under the bus, but the other two are straight up evil. Newt's entire staff walked out on him as a show of no faith and Mitt is fucking MORMON. And if you don't already know what that entails please direct your attention to season 7, episode 12 of South Park, "All About Mormons" here: http://www.southparkstudios.com/full-episodes/s07e12-all-about-mormons

You can gripe about our Goverment but do you have the money to buy it out like the corperations have? We the people have a better chance of owning our Goverment by buying off the corrupt polititions with more money than they get from the large corperations.Other than that ,we have little chance of freedom.Remember freedom isn`t free anymore, it takes money to be free these days! Isn`t that sick?

We're just in a downward slump. We've regressed back to pre WW2 society where the gap between wealthy and poor is large and there aren't too many in the middle. It takes a lot of energy in the form of strikes and sit ins and just civil disobedience in general to stop the corporations from eating all the cookies and leaving only enough to keep everyone else alive long enough to participate in the system as slaves. Middle class citizens got complacent after prospering from the spoils of WW2 and the rich strategically capitalized the opportunity to go back to the old days of no regulations where corporate monopolies run the government. Only this time tax rates for the filthy rich are 0-25% instead of 90%. The rich have a lot of momentum right now. But obsessing about the worst case doomsday scenario won't do me any good. I think the pendulum will swing back the other way someday. Hopefully in my lifetime.

Folks gotta let their money do the talkin' (what little they have, that is) rather than campin in the park and shittin in an ORI while drinking Starbucks or nothing is gonna change.

Case in point: My wife went to an Xmas ornament exchange party this weekend. When she set out to go buy her gift to take to th party....she had no set vision of what the ornament should LOOK like...just that it would be >>>>MADE IN THE USA<<<<.....

yeah....right! Store after store.....fuckin' Chinese "chink-chank" (as we call it) bullshit. She finallly DID find a store with some hand-blown glass ornaments from Colorado and purchased some of those but it was a challenge......

and that just isn't RIGHT and IS the problem here.

Direct yer cash back into your local/State economy folks. PAY ATTENTION to what you buy and where it comes from or none of this protesting and banging of heads will change anything whatsoever.....guaranteed.

be safe out there

So true. growth is created by spending. its basic fundamentals of economics. Now, with no manufacturing sector all that money is being funneled out of the country. Look back over the years and look at when the manufacturing sector of the U.S. was sold for profits. As the manufacturing sector died so did the american economy.

There are a few people in politics that still care about the constitution and wanting what's best for the betterment of life for the average citizen and society as a whole. Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Gary Johnson, Jared Polis...well chit, that's about all I can think of right now. Few enough to count on one hand, lol. Maybe you're right.

Once heard Lewis Black say it best, "The Republicans are the party with bad ideas, and the Democrats are the party with no ideas!"

Anyway, I digress...

LMFAO, how is Ron Paul the worst of the lot? Because every vote he as ever made as a member of congress was based on the constitution and not any corporation or business interest? Or, because he wants to end the war on drugs and legalize Cannabis?

The Enemy is Combined and is Within. What is happening is the End of All Nations.
Nothing we can do, it must come to pass.
All we can do is the best we can and not turn to evil.

So you're going to base your assumptions about Mormonism on of all things... South Park? Am I the only one who thinks that approach has flaws?

Don't get me wrong, I think Mitt Romney is a bad choice for our country but the reasons I think so have nothing to do with his religion. Shit, it's the only thing he hasn't flip flopped on...
