Hi All,

Newbie here.

Is it better to prune my 4 week old plants in the morning or at night?

Thanks!

I don't think it matters. I've done both and have never had problems either way.

I should clarify. These are outdoor plants. Temps drop to around high 50’s to low 60’s degrees at night.

Does that matter?

I just read some article that you should not prune Autoflowers?
Thoughts?

I prune in the afternoon, outside. I try for around 3 or 4 pm. Its past the heat of the day and still gives the plants a few hours to recuperate. I generally dont prune in my region until mid July. Most of my plants start flowering at the end of July, first couple weeks of August. Generally complete by the first 10 daysish of October. Thats up here.

I agree with GNick. I defoliate much bigger, more mature plants. I also dont do autos. I would definitely leave her alone. She looks great. Happy growing.

Thank you!!! It gets so confusing. There are a few articles about increasing yields and to get rid of the leaves that don’t get sun on the bottom.

Thank you. This is quite the journey and learning experience. Never grew anything before. Not a vegetable, fruit, or spice. Haha
