Currently have window banger hanging through wall to outdoors in framed up room in garage. Want to move it to wall inside garage and seal hole to outside for at least 2 reasons. Light is leaking in from outside and it looks weird when window unit on garage is running during winter. At least during winter when garage is reasonably cold, can I move it to inside wall with bucket under it to catch water. Couple of pics of crude light shield. Inside of cardboard painted black. Super lame. Looking for a better way.

Any way to pull air in from outside? If its nice and cool that will be way more cost effective

Yes, you can move the window unit to inside the garage. Easiest and fastest way.

With fall/winter/spring, you can use outside air if you want to change your setup.

Yes agreed move it to outside vent it in , paint or seal them walls up .... a clean tidy , tight room produces little issues and lots of dank flowers ......

best of luck
