You leaving a good woman? That shit will eat at you like crazy while shit is already stressful enough living in a new place, not knowing anybody, with a uncertain job. Plus Denver is crazy flooded with herb already

Get out bro....every time I get on a plane back to Iowa I still worry about warrants. You ain't worth shit to your kid if your in jail.

Move to co, do it fucking huge, and do what you can for yours in the meantime

FYI I don't have any kids, so hopefully somebody else chimes in cuz that's a big deal

there are jobs in the industry out here - they are always looking for trimmers. not the best job, but it might get you in...

good luck in starting over. not a bad thing starting over...

My divorce left me broke, beat up and was the sole reason for packing my clothes (and my dog) into a beat up 1968 Ford 18 ft motorhome and trucking it out to Colorado.

Best thing I ever fucking did!

The kid situation makes it a bit more challenging. And most likely you will be paying out child support. I'm not so sure if a trimming job will get you enough dough to afford an apartment and the bills but there are other job ops out here. I work in gambling casino and make 15 bucks an hour (lots of bennies too). And casinos are always hiring (and firing). I know a few guys selling cars for dealerships and doing very well.

Good Luck, and once you make a choice, never look back.

1. Denver is flooded with herb, but a good grower will ALWAYS be able to move product. You can break into the industry, or go black ops.
2. You will regret leaving your baby if you do not take measures to insure your parental rights. I was not allowed to see my kids for about 18 months when they were little and it haunted me. I finally had to hire the meanest asshole lawyer I could find, and ended up with joint custody.
3. Good luck, and go with your gut.

nothin to it but to do it right? yes. i cant c me hanging back living a life i hate and filled with regret. Time to move on. The child support never scares me, she can file. Isnt my first rodeo. The fact is she files and i get rights...i need those, cuz as of right now im not shit because i refused sign at her birth as i had questions of paternity. long hoe ass story. What im focused on is getting somewhere where I can grow as a person and shit set roots down. My daughter-s can come and c me....or ill go visit them. I just cant sit back and let life lead me between a rock n a hard place...im trien b happy. Shit!

I suggest getting a halfway decent job and growing some herb on the side for supplement cash. Find some cheap living space, share an apartment or park a small travel trailer on a lot.

If you are not set on living in the Denver area there are a ton of great cities here, big small and don't rule out the rurals. Lots of different climates here too. Get a plan and go for it.

Sorry about the marital troubles and stay close to your girls. My brother is having a hell of a time with his divorce... I Don't mean to be a downer, but I'm trying to be realistic and it's a rat race out here now. Half the kids I grew up with in NJ are moving out here shortly all thinking they're better growers than the "dumb hippies" out here. All the outsiders that have moved here to grow and ship buds and dabs to their buddies in other states are bringing heat like never before. Fed Ex and UPS are adding more dogs to sniff out packages. Living in Denver is not cheap. Remember the grass always appears greener on the other side. I tend to be more conservative than most of my local brothers, but as Kolah said, try to have a real job lined up before you move out or you might end up living in an alleyway at the 16th street mall.

Wow man, that's a rough hand you have right now, keep your head up for better days! For what you want to do, my best advice is move here and land a normal job that will pay the bills. Colorado as stated before is crazy flooded right now and still just trying to figure out what avg demand will be. You can always setup your personal plants and get going for yourself. If its right for you man, go for it, but be smart about it and have opportunities and living arranged ahead of time.

No kidding man.... you looking for a job offer over a weed forum? If you want to come out here, do it. Here's a 4 step model bro.

Move out here and get a job - probably not in a dispensary cause pay isn't enough to live on at entry level from what I hear. So, you work a regular job awhile to pay the bills. Make enough money to get growing. Grow good enough to get a clientele. Quit your day job.

Ain't no shortcuts unless you already have money dude, shitty but way it is.

This cat moved out here, got a Colorado state drivers license, MMED support badge, state medical red card, and a place to live in about 10 days....and that same kind of "git'r done" attitude landed him a job a couple days after that...you guys could learn alot from the way my boy attacked the mission at hand and didn't wait on anyone to wipe his ass...Big up Bjorn!
