My 3rd grow how about hydro...haha

Okay I am DWC now. Oh man it's really fun...I have one plant that is well into flower and another one getting ready. I have a 3x3x6 tent and man I am glad that I tried one plant 1st that sucker is really spreading out. I will have to scrog the next one for sure...Oh and I am finally getting cloning down..Whew... cloning ain't easy at 1st but now I am having a success. I am attaching some pics...
The last pic is of a 3 leaf plant. It is a clone from the plant I have in Flower right now...What causes this ?And will it still produce some good smoke...??? Oh my closet veg room...last picture.. doing it on a budget...hhahahalol;):)

What wattage lights you using for veg and flowering mate?

And how many did you grow last time that yielded 4 ounces?

Im new to it myself and intend growing 1 plant DWC and topping, LST'ing and SCROG'ing it. Il be using a 600w HPS and will be hoping for 300g+

I am in a 3x3x6.7 tent using a 600 watt hps and a 135 watt Black star Flowering LED. I did train the plant femmed it a bit out it in flower at about 12 to 14 inches...Its a Sativa. inca cross blueberry something. I smoked some before I bought the clone...ooooh..its great!!! I kept my ppms between 500 and 600 and in mid bloom , last week I raised the ppms to 900...I changed the res. today and I am running 450 ppms with just some Bloom...My water temps have been around 78 degrees towards the end of the 12 hour light cycle...Its filling up the tent...I think I will get maybe 3 ounces of this one plant. It is beginning to fruit and the buds seem to be getting some weight. I accidently///thats a lie...hahaha.. I kinda fondled one of the buds and its hard like its been taking Viagra... The buds are getting dense / I had to do a Macgyver and use some plastic tie lines to hold a few of the bud points up...Is that good???hahaha its gonna have to do...:) My ph levels have varied I kept them between 5.5 and 6.0... I am getting mixed messages on water temps I just run my air pump outside my tent...There was some crazy post about dropping plastic bottles that you freeze into the res.. hell no I am not doing it... Thats all folks..

Im not trying to be a dick here or anything. and Im a total noob myself so Im in no way dissing your grow, but isnt that yield a little low? I thought 0.5g per watt was the usual minimum standard?

Im just going by what iv read through research though and may be totally wrong here.

Either way, as long as your having fun and getting a few ounces of quality bud, thats all that matters really. Id just like to find out if the 0.5g per watt thing was true, because with me id need a minimum of 300g per 600w to make my grow worthwhile.

A good farmer can get a pound easy with a 600 watt grow..Now if I let my plants get bigger and bushier I will easily pull that on my next grow...3 winter grows will not be an experiment but I will be down on it...I am getting using ferts down and I have read about other nutes that I might try...I have noticed that Nit levels need to be raised in veg...I am also going to veg longer...My next grow my plants will have vegged for almost 3 months as it will be in DEC.... Oh and check out HydroHybrid on you tube..He grows 1 pound plants....

I will say this having no prior growing experience at all...not even a tomato or a house plant this has been an interesting experiment....I no longer complain about the price of weed ... I aint selling none of mine.. This shit is like blood , sweat and tears to me...

My first time in a aeroflo I got 12 oz from 2k lights
(12 oz hardly paid for the aeroflo and chiller)

Where's your water temp at? 65-70 is pretty optimal
PH is the other thing that can be a pain in dwc.

HygroHybrid is a legend lol, iv been watching his DWC series on youtube. Im on part 13 of 17 right now. Very informative, and yeah he pulls in mad weight!

I hope I can achieve results like him some day!

He is good ... But he also vegs a long time.. I am veging my next DWC til Dec...It's gonna be one big sucker... Chem Dog is really kinda hard to grow...I am having problem with Nitrogen def in that plant...I will beat it...My main goal is to have some kick ass smoke...

I am not sure but looking at his plants it would seem that its at least 2 months...You will have to have a pretty big healthy plant to get a pound...He also uses RO water and that makes a big difference. Co2 does also.I am not going to uses CO2 as it can be dangerous.. I am going to use a small fan on a timer to blow outside air into my grow room during the day at 15 min intervals... I am a screw up and I don't want to kill myself..hahahaha

GET THESE THINGS...NEEM OIL and GREEN CURE and use them during VEG... Please...Powdery Mildew sucks big time...A once of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure...Oh and PH meters.. I just threw away 2 of them they cheap ones are not worth crap...you would be better off using strips or the bottle method that comes in a kit..Last thing...Keep your grow space clean. I clean my tent with a little bleach water and a cheap dollar store mop... And before I flower I have a sprayer and I clean my tent and then I spray it down with greencure and let it dry..Hope this helps..Oh and don't worry about your grows , to me there are no failures just a matter of applying what I learn on here and see what happens..This time next year it will be a no brainer because I am not going to stop til my last flower which will end in June..

They sell one called the mighty mite portable for about 100 bucks on Amazon.com.. It only makes about 10 gallons in about 4 to 5 hours but its as pure as it can be...I also bought a 25.00 usb scope its awesome...

It can cause breathing problems if the concentration is too high. I opted out of using it.. I might get high and fall asleep in my grow room as I do occasionally and not wake up..hahahahaha:)
