Jus a lil update, been real busy with drywall mudding. By today Ill have everything mudded and readsy to sand or wrap in panda. due to my time constraints, i might skip sanding and painting and jus go with panda file. when i start sanding on monday, ill kno if its feasible to finish in the time i need to or not.

Gonna put this light controller up soon, its a bit overkill, I bought without fully researching things, my bad.
got some questions:
I could NOT find a 120 amp breaker for this so my sparky used a 100 amp breaker and the correct size wire(forgot what size). I dont plan on running this at full capacity( 12 k flower and 2nd zone will be upto 5 600watts veg, mabe a couple t5s)not even close so I thought id b ok. is this a bad idea or will it cause unforeseen problems?

Also, Instead of mounting in the room where humidity might get high, I wanted to mount it outside the room but on the cieling not on the wall. It would be faceing up instead of hanging on a wall. I don t think this should be a problem, but jus wanted to see what u guys think.
it would be mounted on the space below, id jus put a peice of drywall down first.

Doors in and drywall mud almost done

I messed up on the AC install! the ducting is in the way of my %foot centes for the Gavita, duhhhh! Im losing some of the height clearence on a row of lights now. kinda bumed!

ordered a 20X25 pond liner should b in by next week , hopefully plants will b going in by next weekend.

You are going to want to sand and double clean the dust because the particles WILL find your way into your grow and that will be a very bad thing. Gypsum dust is from the devil. I'm remodeling my entire house and that is what I am right in the middle of. :inpain:

Calculated decisions are the right way to go... Especially when you're thinking in doing something you really want/love to do and where too much enthusiasm can lead you to make some mistakes...
In other words... How to satisfy your addiction in the best possible way... Like growing dank as preventive medecine ! ;)

Glad you escaped chemo bro... Rick Simpson Oil, Raw Cannabis Juice, Pot Cooking, Vap and/or any other healthy way to absorb cannabinoids would be beneficial as preventive or curative in my book... and way less toxic than any other chemo shit !
Lost one more uncle last sunday, another passed away few months ago, he decided to refuse any other chemo after going through 12 different chemo over those 5 last years...
The fact is chemo=too much $$$$$$ to too many people bastards !
Few recognized oncologists said 85% of chemotherapies are questionable or even useless !
Fact is: Cancers kills people... Other Fact is: chemo kills people FASTER and make them suffering a LOT more !
3 of 4 doctors won't accept chemo if they got cancer...
Browsing the web, one can learn the average success rate of chemo is well below 5% ... It is more about 2.2 percent ! :rage:
So, I would think twice if one day someone would sell me a .2 cent chemo to give me hopes...
I'd rather keep my life as it is because it must be worth a whole buck, instead of any .2 cent cheetoxic !
Sorry for that outburst bro...

I will be watching for action here and there ;)

You will be fine on the breaker...as long as you don't push it past 80-85 amps cont.

I would be very careful hanging panda film directly onto the unpainted/sealed drywall...a long time ago I hung up panda film directly to the wall because I didn't have time to paint, after that run I tore down the plastic and there was black mold all behind the plastic and wall...

You will need help with that pond liner, it's going to be 150 lbs.

Those don't appear to be all weather doors? What about the seal plate at the Bottom?

I know you said you are behind schedule, but my best advice is don't rush things, get it painted and sealed up right and then add plants, don't skimp on walls.

Rent a paint sprayer and you would paint that baby in a day or two.

Looking good!

Because or ur experience wit panda over unpainted surfaces, I will be sanding and painting. Thanks for the heads up.

Those aren't weather doors, jus solid core regular INSide house doors. I plan on putting in a threshold and seal up the bottom soon.
Man these pond liners r heavy, yea I got an extra set of hands. I'm not like u dude, I use help, some of us can't pull the "one man show off" haha. Stay up dude.

jus a quik update, got the bulk of the rooms painted still need to do some touch up but its done; 10 gallons of Kilz later. the rooms could use one more coat but its jus not in the budget. I hate doing things half ass but between time constraints and money issues, Ive had to cut alot of corners.
I still gotta put in the metal corner beads, a lil mud and some paint touch up as u can see below.

This was my first real drywall and mud project. I hate that the room DOESNOT look like glass. as u can see below, i have flaws. if i had more time i would have went bk and fixed it but the time constraints issue strikes again. good news is, ive learned a grip, and I know next project will be flawless

so this weekend I gotta clean put, put the pond liner in flower and hopefully have plants in the flower room for a couple weeks of veg.

Confu nice thread, and about the ac installation, what would you have done different as far as installing the ac unit, as well as other things that you have learned along the way so far?

We might need a recap of what we've learned so far, if we wait till the project is done to recap what we learned so far, we might forget some of the details or be over whelmed with so much information to compile.

Great thread and input from all the experienced peeps at the farm!

Next time forget the killz whitewash. Go to Sherwin Williams and get the high build surfacer/primer. Half the price and 10x the product. But looking not too shabby for your first attempt.
