ok well after researching and looking around i cant figure this out so ill ask here. I have 5 gal buckets in a rdwc with a 290gph pump 3/4" fittings and 3/4" line the problem is that my first bucket from the rez fills up wayy too fast all the other buckets are fine and my drain is fairly good. Ill let the pics do the talking I hope you guys can help me out!

Looks like the pump from your rez might be pushing water in faster than the pressure from like 2" of water can push it into the next bucket maybe??

Try to slow the flow from your pump, or drop $10 on another bucket and and drill a bigger outlet hold in it, then try using it for your first bucket and see if that fixes it.

i had that problem too at first. what i did was get a "T" for the black tubing and split the flow so half went to half the buckets and the other half to the other buckets. the only thing now is that you will have 2 returning lines back to the resi but you can "T" that off and combine that back into one tube so its only one tube in one tube coming out of the resi. This will at leas cut the water flow in half so not as much water should fill up in first buckets. hope this helps

If you can't find a "T", couldn't you just drill a 2nd hose outlet (essentially turning your bucket into the "T")?

i was thinking the same thing. in making 1 bucket a manifold of some sort i think. If i cant make it work i think im just going to flower in the rubbermaid bucket there in. only problem is that its wayy too cramped in there i think i messed up letting them grow so big in there ha! :anim_09:
