Since this is your madien venture in growing I would take several differant stages on trichomes. More amber the more narcotic it becomes.

Most say cloudy is best. Yes thats peak thc, but I would suggest to also take some at 20% amber and some at 50%.

The more amber you have the harder it will hit. With your injuries that 50% will make sure those times you need to sleep will happen. If you can smoke 50% amber and not hit couch lock and pass out your a better man than me.

If you try this take the tops off the plant first, let em go a few days watching those trichs when they hit 20% amber cutthe center off the plant, wait a few days use the bottom of the plant for the 50%.

That way you have wak n bake the cloudy, to just got destroyed by a freight train baked the 50% its nap time.

Looking at trichomes under a scope is fun but not always a very accurate or sane way to determine the best time to chop. Trichomes turn amber simply by being knocked around or hit. There are billions of trichomes to scope out. Look over the entire plant. Are the fan leaves dry and falling off? Are the buds pistils shriveled and turning a burnt dry orange or brown. Is it in the window of time the strain has been determined to end flower? Then depending on the size of the pot determine how long the soil takes to dry out and chop it. Pretty simple really.

im chopping them all down at the same time.. as its only place i have to hang so its gonna be a mix bag of what i get.

i have a high tolerance so i say bring on couch lock if i can get it i need it. but iv read that whole more amber than cloudy is not really couch lock weed you just getting more CBD correct? i guess people will argue over that until the end of time now there not so many old school lines out there to sample at will.

thank you for the info, yeah i need couch lock. :D i cant say iv had a day time smoke yet lol..
i have to hang them in the tent so they all get taken at the same time..

im so close i can taste it. i need to get another cheap flat iron to try and make rosin the one i originally bought failed and i returned it so still have the money from it.. until i can get a press. unfortunately that stupid cert ate in my to my spare change.. so maybe next month i can get a rosin press. or maybe i can try to make oil. time will answer all my uncertainties im sure.

im still confused when i should chop since i have to take them all at once. im assuming i would wait for the greener one to ripe.. and go from there..

day / night smoke all the same to me at this point until i get a sativa id imagine.

how are you doing? not much here waiting for my foam to arrive so i can block up the window see if that lowers the temp some.. fucking heat wave here. laughs.. you know its a warm day when its tripple digits before you get out of bed.

I would chop as soon as they are dry,you don't want to take the lighter ones to late.Having a hard time waking up from to much edibles.I need to make a bit of bubble hash but the hot weather has me feeling lazy

when they dry out chop, got it. im gonna get a loup for my phone next time.. so i can get better shots.
the day i chop ill pop these sativa hybrids.. the CGL, plemon beans. they are 8 weeks correct?
yeah man this heat has me so lazy. bubble hash sounds good.
i need to get some dry ice yet. while waiting for my foam/plastic. see if i can drop the temp a few degrees.

but for now im just relaxing, and im hungry but to hot to eat. salad maybe in the works for lunch.

lights on: 8 weeks ( i think they put on some weight last night. the bud on the far right is good size.)

well i scope they have a few more amber dots and they are just cloudy on the greener plant.. im getting a lens for my camera so much easier than the scope..

also is the fox tail ok? it is warm here.
