I have been using marijuana for years as medicine for ADHD . I just had this thought hit me like a brick ! Been growing for roughly 3.5 years . I started with bag seed and hand me down seed just growing just to grow my medicine . With all these beautiful strains out there I feel like a kid with my hand in the medicine chest . I guess my question is , how do I get the right medicine without years of research ? I am a little bit high strung and so I have always used indica to just sedate the problem . Now I don't just want to sedate I want to be calm and not couch locked . Thanks you gals and guys are awesome

Well I myself use cannabis for pain control and emotional support. I had always thought I would be using deep amber weed based on research and such. Then I followed a thread where a fella was selling medical grade to customer specs. His by far customer request was cloudy trics. The guy had even converted a few folks by offering their order and then giving them some less amber product.
So my Apple Fritter plant 3 was very frosted and I pulled it 3 weeks before plant 4. It had very few amber trics.
It is also the best weed I have grown so far. Not couch locky but does not interfere with sleep. Very heavy head buzz and I def get more done.
I have about one ounce left and then will be smoking the deep amber plant that went so much longer. The whole drying plant has been turning red. This will tell me if I truly like the deep amber or the totally cloudy.

I will try that . I have been going 20 percent Amber and did not even think to play around with the trichomes. Good advice . Do you think that take weight from your final yield ?

I have been taking early and late harvests for years. The early weed tends to be more energetic and not couch lock. We label the later harvests as “late Harvest”. Also early harvests help avoid bud worms and mold.

Not enough data yet But I have also seen some secondary shrink on this last plant. I Jared 90 grams of later harvest and it has shrunk to 78 after 2 weeks in jars and table burping. It was at 62% for 12 days and was done but when Jared went to 65% and took 2 weeks to drop to 63%
The last plant went 3 weeks longer than breeder average, was the best, smelliest, and most yield.

I definitely don't want to lose weight . I do need to do more research on strains and effects . It is just so much fun checking out new stuff.
