Hey there! I wanted to make my first journal ever, and use it to document instead of my calendar. Thought it may be a good learning tool as well as good for future reference.

Here’s what i currently have:

4 clones of Gage Green Mango Puff
2 Seedlings of Blimburn Critical Daddy Purp
2 Thin Mint in 3x3 for flower
2 Rude Boi in 3x3 for flower
5 bag seed- put in flower to determine sex. Had AK47, critical mass and a few other specific reg seeds that mixed together. Its now shrodingers seed- no idea what anything is. Its been a week, no sign yet.

So- for veg, I actually don’t currently use a tent. I veg on a table under t5 ho 6500k in soil.

I use Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil and FF trio and cal mag.

I have two tents for flower. One is a 3x3, with a single 315w 4200k. The other is a 4x8, with 3 315’s and will have two cali ligtworks bloomboosters alternating between the cmh in hopes of tightening up and growing larger buds if I can.

I want to learn to scrog, fine tune some issues I tend to have and grow as a grower.

Following are photos of the plants that ill update this with. Thank you for looking ✌

Hoped to take some photos of both tents but I have one set up to turn on before I leave for work and one on after.

Not much has changed. The CDP is a little taller, the clones still look like clones and I hope to be able to determine males from females in my other tent tonight.

For now though, heres an update on the 3x3 with rude boi and thin mint.

I took photos of one of the most common undiagnosed issues I run into and id love feedback. It always effects the larger fan leaves and for seemingly no reason. I typically pull them off. Id love to learn more about whatever it is.

Update- a friend told me it looks like a calmag issue. I agree but I feed calmag every watering with nutes.

Im going to do more research on it. As far as I can tell it doesnt effect anything.

Yeah, I had what I believe was a small magnesium deficiency that looked kinda like that on my last grow. I believe you could add Epsom salts if u wanna add just mag. But don't take my word for it, definitely do your research first lol

I’ve read epsom salts will do the trick. Ill look into how much. Funny how something so simple eluded me for so long though. I still dont understand how every run ends up deficient, but it is what it is.

Heres a photo of the others. Two definite females. Still unsure of the rest. Also took a photo of what I have lighting the tent at the moment.

What size pot are you using, and how long have the plants been in those pots?

They are 5 gallon, and about three weeks now, for the ones in the 3x3 with the leaf issue. Edit- maybe larger. I was using 5 gallon. These are about 15” across and a little over a foot tall.

The others are waiting for definitive sex before repotting.

Not much has happened in the tent. I feel like this may be a fairly boring grow journal at first. Flowers are getting a little bigger. The only really cool thing is that out of my 5 reg seed plants, I got 5 females. I am extremely curious how thats possible, but there are definite white hairs on all of them.

Anyway, here are some photos of the 3x3, 20 some days in or so.

With regular seeds your ratios are totally at random; for your 5 that popped female someone else will be unlucky and get 4 out of 5 males.

Those are looking quite nice for 20 some-odd days. There is that one big fat cola in the middle of the tent that will surely be exciting to watch swell.

Im watching that one especially!

I had a good amount of growth in the past couple days. I will take some more photos tomorrow.

Also- I purchased more of the same size pots. As it turns out I flower in 10 gallon pots. I thought they were 5 gallon. I guess I never paid much attention when buying them.

Well, had to deal with bad weather and didnt make it to my grow this morning before work. I did however snap a couple pics of my last grow now that I am at the end of cure and its finally ready. So, in the mean time, here is a bud shot instead.

Thanks! I had some issues during the grow that I will never have again. Grew it with cheap leds- not as cheap as they could be, but too cheap to do again. Way too much heat, humidity and headaches the entire time. Luckily it tastes and smells amazing anyways, and has a really impressive high. Strain is GSC.

I was pleasantly surprised with the end of cure and so anxious I had other people try it before me. Lots of good feedback and I was happy with it myself.

I think i take this too seriously lol.

I made my first scrog screen last night, 12” above the top of my 10gallon pots and then another 7” above that (two screens total). It went well, should work excellent. My goal is to use it for a Charlottes Web clone I have in my 3x3, and hopefully get the most I can from it.

Anyway, here is a quick update on the 3x3. Canopy growth is far from even, but thats because I was under the impression you couldnt top clones. Its not awful like it is with a seed plant by any means. I guess for 4 plants I would prefer it this way in such a small tent. Next time I will do one plant scrogged in here, probably end up with the same amount and will not waste so much potential.

Live and learn!

Real good! Unfortunately I am close to immune to it though. Anyone who walks in the door of my house comments on how good it smells but I can be right inside a tent and dont smell anything One of the downsides to growing I guess. lol
