I started my first grow! I ordered some seeds and got freebies with them. I decided to test out my skills with freebies before I run the genetics I wanted. I’m currently running (OG kush- Barney’s) farms and (Ice Cream Cake - I don’t know). They were planted a week or two from each other so I probably could’ve made my life easier but hey you live and you learn. I’ve been keeping my temp range around 72-82f it’s tough growing in a garage. It introduces variables into the grow. I’m currently in week 7 of veg on ICC and week 5 for OG. Haven’t really dealt with many issues other than some fungus gnats that I figured out how to control using traps and diatomaceous earth. I’m doing some LST with some clips I got on Amazon and it seems to encourage outward growth and helps to thicken / stiffen up the stems. It’s fun learning and experimenting to see the plants response.

Overall, I'm really enjoying my first grow. Watching the plants thrive and develop has been rewarding, and I’m amazed at how well they’re responding to the care I’m giving them. From the first sprout to now, the vibrant green leaves and the overall health of the plants give me a sense of pride and excitement. It’s a learning journey, and I’m eager to see how everything turns out as I continue to nurture them.

Excited to harvest my first flowers!

I almost forgot I’m using a 70% coco 20% worm castings and 10% perlite mix (roughly). And I amended the soil in the start and am using fox farms nutes!

Looking great what size pots are you in?when are you planning on flipping? I just finished a Barney’s farm biscotti that came out great. My favorite out of the 15 strains I’ve grown.

I’m currently running 3 gallon pots. This being my first grow I wasn’t too sure what size pots would fit in my little tent haha so I’m doing a little RND :). As far as flowering stage I was thinking of flipping around week 8 because I’m limited on room height wise and I don’t want them to stretch to an uncontainable point. But I topped the ICC 2 times to attempt to let the other plant catch up a bit as well. For freebie seeds I couldn’t be happier with the vigor tbh.

Biscotti is fire for sure! Id love to check out your grow. Not even done with my first grow and I’ve already lined up my next grow :) I picked up some In House Genetics, going to try my hand with high quality plants.

I actually did just remove the larger fan leaves and tried to clean up some foliage blocking the bud sites before flipping it. The first topping was at 2-2.5 weeks old and then again somewhere around the 5th week mark. In its current state it’s about 47 days (7 weeks) old. I’m also in a 2x2x4 so I’m going to have to flip soon because I already know they’re gonna stretch. I want to keep a good distance from the light but in all honesty I don’t think my 100w VIVOSUN aero light is powerful enough to bleach the buds but I’d rather be safe than sorry! I gotta check out your grow too, I’d love to keep up with everyone and learn as I go.

BRO we have the exact same light. 100W vivosun aerolight, with the little fan in the middle right? Lol love my vivosun setup so far. If you do it incrementally, you should be able to go 100% with your light. I have mine at 100% and only 6 inches from the top of the canopy. Im a little over 6 weeks into flower so my plant is definitely ready for more light than yours. And you have 2 plants, i only have 1. So you might be timing the flip right, only time will tell haha

My plant is 102 days old right now, from the day i planted the seed. Shes incredibly happy and iv had my light going at 100% for basically my entire grow. Always be careful with that. Test your plant slowly, dont wanna light burn your plant. I might have had some light burn earlier on in my grow, not 100% sure but i backed my light off and the problem didnt appear on any other leaves, so im assuming thats what it was.

Anyways, best of luck man! Im gonna watch your thread, i wanna see if you get info i havent seen yet haha

update: Things have gone without a hitch. Tents climate has been kept within range. Steady feedings at 3-4 days with lowered concentrations than manufacturers requirements. No signs of burn really or toxicity. The girls seem to be loving their home.

Depicted is the first day/ week of flip and up until around week 3 1/2 of flower. Some good Trichrome production happening and she’s starting to give a lovely aroma! Gotta say, kind of hyped on how these are shaping up especially for my first ever attempt at growing anything ever .

Can’t wait for the next one already with some GOOD genetics!
