Lumens as a measurement does not measure energy.
Lux as a measurement does not measure energy.
Neither have a direct correlation to a ppfd measurement without more data ( led count, watts)

If you could please show me a conversion formula to prove otherwise
I to am not a toe stepper. I have learned a lot about growing and when I learn more information I change my mind very easily. If my statement is incorrect please help me work through it as I am not one to push false ideas.

Lumens is an ass, but Its actually incredibly easily to convert lux to par. Lux X 0.0155 for most grow lights around 3000k-3500k. Just get a par meter and a lux meter and divide the par by lux to get a coefficient (relationship) between the two numbers.

Its a basic coefficient between the two values. For example my CMH concerts lux to par at a rate to 0.0168, my 3000-3500k lights are around 0.0155.

Lux multiplied by 0.0155 or PAR divided by 0.0155 gets you very close to correct flux numbers with a white, 3000-4000k grow light with an average number of reds.

Lux is measured by running light through three cones (cones have a value between 380-740nm which is the same as PAR). .we don't see light under 380 or over 740nm which means lux meters are basically measuring the same wavelengths as PAR.

For example 60000lux is 930umol/s using my lux meter and par meter and I can convert between those numbers any time I want.

I've tested a ton of lights and the most efficient at turning luminous flux to photosynthetic flux is CMH at around 0.168. Most average 3500k lights are around 0.0155 and lights around 6500k need a coefficient of 0.0145 as blue light isn't as photosynthetically active as red light. Blue light is brighter to our eyes than red light.

If you have a par meter why would you need to convert lux to par...just read the par meter. A whole lot less mathey thing happening there.

I don't have a par meter. I had to borrow someone else's to get a coefficient so I could get par. Saved me spending a few hundred dollars at the end of the day.

Its a handy coefficient for people who don't have a par meter but have a lux meter.

I don't disagree and I've used it or another myself since the Sun irradiance is measured in watts/M2 which can be converted to lux and I was trying to calibrate an app using lux to get a par measure at one specific time of year at a specific sun angle. What I've done now is just use the par map supplied by my light manufacturer as a calibration bench. It just has to be close, not absolutely accurate in my book.

One week for sure but likely more.

Possible. I think I’ll decide after I harvest and see what’s going on. If I do I’ll likely see if I can get her to reverse sex.

One thing I did want to mention. She isn't as sugared up as she was last time so she is definitely going into oil or butter. Is her trich density a result of a regrowth or perhaps another cause? FIIK? Or both FIIK?

Almost done with lemon/lime so going raspberry this time. Since the oil from Nov was a little weak adding in 6 grams pre decarb and then re-infusing to up the concentration. Still from the Critical Auto.

Shelley update day. Not much happening. I did take care of the aphids so that was good. I checked the cheeses too. Checked trichs and Shelley still got time.

Shelley. She is sugaring up more so that’s a good thing. I’ll check trichs again in a couple days.

She looks about the same stage as mine, just starting to think about, and maybe a few clear to white trics. This is the boring part. LOL

I guess you made it back home safely? That's good!

Yes, not too much to do other than wait.

Yep, as usual the road commission clears the freeways and leaves all the surface streets alone. So, the driveway was bad but the drive was a piece of cake, once I got to the expressway.

Took a look through the loupe and they're still pretty clear.
