A while back i had feminized and autoflowers growing together in a grow tent. One of them became a hermaphrodite from chem stress. I let it go and then harvested the polm and got my other females pregnant. They produced seeds that are actually viable. I have no idea who the parents were but they were indicas because thats all i grow. I had read that a hermie that impregnates feminized plants gives you feminized seeds. Because the "dad" was an autoflower, the offspring are feminized autos too. I have been buying seeds and theyre ridiculously expensive so I'm stoked.

Unfortunately hermaphrodite seeds are going to produce hermaphrodite plants

Would love ideas for a name. Havent harvested my first set yet so havent smoked it but i have high hopes. Get it? High hopes. Yes i think im highlarious.
Unless I'm mistaken hermaphrodite seeds are going to produce hermaphrodite plants
Yes unless they impregnate feminized plants then they produce feminized seeds. At least that was what i found googling stuff and youtube. So far it seems correct theyre budding and i dont see any signs if hermie-ness. And theyre autoflowers

If one parent is auto and one is photo how do you know the seeds are auto?

If you say so. Theyve been growing beautifully. I will soon see. In a month they should be ready for harvest
It is very sad Empress.Indica. You have come to this forum and I am not sure what intentions you have or had, but some of the more experienced growers have shared their opinions and well you do not like what they have to say. By the way what was your point in coming on this forum in the first place, because from what I see it was just to show off your work and brag.

Since the plant was not naturally herm, then i see no reason that the seeds would be herm. With that said the seeds you have could be a mix of the parents or it could be its own blend of both. I have crossed auto flower and a photo plant which has had NO autoflowers out of the 50 seeds that i have popped so far. Dont exspect the best weed thou, as mentioned by someone earlier, autos dont make the best smoke. However the seeds are yours and you dont have to pay for any for a while if they produce something that you like. As for a name, unless you plan to start selling seeds and cuttings of your new untested, as of yet, strain..... its like naming a fart... no point

😂🤣😂 Point taken. I have dreams of one day becoming a licensed grower with fields of weed to tend to. But thats way way wayyyyyy in the future.

The information you have quoted is based on using a female from the same strait and forcing hermaphrodite traits to come out. Commonly referred to as an S-1. You stated your hermaphrodite was chem stress induced. This is not the same as using hormones to induce hermaphrodite traits.

And hundreds of thousands if not millions in investments. Good luck in all of you endeavors.

Oh, and if you want to do a count of your seeds on a large scale, i suggest to count 100, weigh them and then do the math from there. My last seed harvest was 20K as an estimate. I dont think i could count that many in a day, nor would i like to try

Agree and i'd add that you might get lucky and not have any herms. But the plant will be more prone to herm. I'd rather breed a top shelf hybrid that won't herm under a strobe light.
