Since my last post a few of my plants have gotten much worse. I’ve tried everything and nothing has helped. Backed off feeding, fed a little more. This seems like way underfed now but I gave it a full dose 2 days ago. But some of the newer growth is nice and green but also have what looks like burnt tips. Wtf. Flowering is always my downfall. Healthy as hell until a couple weeks into flowering.

I think you probably have other things going on so definitely wait for others with more experience, but I have found when you are reducing feed and then increasing feed trying to chase deficiencies, very likely your PH is off so I would double check that.

Also if you can add more info about your setup it will help others narrow in on your possible issue better (environment, light, light distance, feed strength, feed frequency, etc...)

what are you feeding In Bloom and what were your last runoff pH and PPM?

Recommend a slurry test and post the results

Soil Ph Slurry Test - Step By Step With Photos

Knowing the pH of your growing medium is important from time to time. The soil pH slurry test is the easiest way of finding the true pH level of your soil based growing medium. For this you'll need: pH Meter - Cheap Amazon pH Pen - Blue Lab pH Pen - Blue Lab Soil pH Pen Cup or Container -...

I’m running 4 sf2000 and 1 sf4000 in a 4x8 tent. Set at ~20-24” from the canopy. Temps are good 74ish lights on and 64ish lights off. I’m in ffof and happy frog soil. I always adjust Tap water ph to 6.3-6.5. Been adding ffof trio bites since a week or so into flowering when I started to notice leaf color changes.

What is your feeding schedule? Feed water water, etc...

I've had this issue myself more then I care to admit and it's super frustrating. Same deal, great veg and stretch then boom mid-flower 3-5 weeks in it hits.

The timeline leads me to believe in my case that it's salt buildup from poor watering practices. Do you know the ppm of your runoff and of your tap water? In my case I wasn't watering to runoff/ was allowing pots to sit in runoff. I was using organic dry amendments, but my tap water comes out @300-400 ppm and I suspect it was these dissolved solids (carbonates) that built up and caused my issues and why I asked about your tap water.

I really hope you can figure this out and i'm really interested in others insight into the issue. A couple other problems I suspected were lights too close and overwatering. Hope this helps a bit and good luck!

Organic nutrients? If so I would look at the microbes.

In my limited experience I had the same issue with salt build up that had me thinking over/under feeding around mid flower, my problem was poor watering practices, feeding with every watering, and not watering until run off. My fix was to switch to a feed water water feed schedule but still no run off because I was growing with organic amendments for the base nutrients.

Sounds like a lot of light for a 4x8. Just that makes things more challenging.

But if the environment, nutrients, watering, etc. is on point then i would look to root aphids. I have similar symptoms in my garden caused by them.

MiMed, you might have a point. He has like 1200 watts in a 4 x 8, alot but not too much IMO. Now you have me thinking the plants might be underfed. I went back and looked at the pictures and the plants look to be eating the nurtients out of the fan leaves close to the buds. I have seen this in late flower but not to the extent in the pictures. It would be helpful to know the PPM's thru the grow.

Yes ppm’s in and out is missing from most nutrient problem related threads. Imagine that. ;-)

Ok so it sounds like I need to be checking my runoff ppm. I’ve read mixed thoughts on that but I will check. I know my tap ppm is around 100. I was doing water, feed, water, feed.. but I do think maybe the salts buildup may be part of the issue. A few of them have a salt ring around the bottom of the smart pots.
