She has been confusing me for the past month, I guess there's no harm in her continuing to confuse. Ill see how she looks after top dress in 3 days.

Yeah dude I’ve been wondering about that one being lighter for a few days and then decided to throw some thoughts out there after you posted the couple leafs off her.
That is a good little chart.

Might as well give a photo dump of the left plant in question, see if anyone notices anything. Under the canopy it was 2 larger fan leaves, the rest are the same colour as the rest of the plant.

Everything is going well, but this is just an update on the babies. I am entering the tent about 3 times a day to check on everything. Today they were getting dry, so I re-applied a small amount of water. Seedlings are still on top of a seedling mat to keep them warm, its still very cold here.

So far no burning, and no stretching. Some are a little taller, some are a little shorter, but none are stretching SO FAR at 30" on 100w. I know you are watching closely Sunin on the results of using a light like this for seedlings so young, so I took a number of close ups as well. There might be a few specks of soil on them .

Once I notice their first nodes have formed I will switch them to 18/6 light cycle.

Week 4, last day of the week.
Day 28 of flower, going into week 5 tomorrow.

It has been another 4 days since their water, and 3 weeks since I top dressed them, so they got another 4 litres. Now the chart calls for the Flower top dress, and the usual mineral composite for calmag etc. Only the Rhizo product was added to this water again.

I checked the bottom of the pots yesterday and it was dry 1 day early, so 4 litres in 3 days. The girls weren't drooping so I waited until today and they didn't mind. But I may have to start watering every 3 days soon. For now they didn't droop even on the 4th morning so I will keep it as every 4 days, but maybe in 2 watering's it will be every 3 days.

Before top dressing I scratched up the top soil again taking care not to harm any roots. I removed as much loose soil from the pot as I could and put it in a container. Then I gave each plant 5 table spoons of top dress, and 5 tea spoons of mineral composite. I sprinkled it evenly, and then worked it in. Then I put the loose top soil back on top and mixed it in further. I watered extremely slowly, giving each 1 litre pour 15-20 minutes to soak in.

The buds are growing fat and fast. If you look you will notice some purple colours beginning to show on some of the plants leaves, especially the plant on the right. From my research on this strain the purple is to be expected, and the purple is very common in the RMQ mother plant. HeavyDayze has a lot of purple in his genetics, but I have never seen purple with my own eyes before.

The babies are doing well. They are growing. In the next few days I am going to give them their first real water instead of just a little around the base, I think they are old enough now that they are drying out every day.

Edited to add: I have made no changes to lighting on either tents. Seedlings are 30" from LED at 100w, and flower tent is at 65% which is 475w. I may be turning my flower tent up to 70% in the next few days.

Girls are doing well. I checked on the them today and the right plant continues to change colour, turning more purple. Pretty cool, so I thought I would take some top-shots of each cola.

Lovely- I like the colours
It's fantastic to watch two strains you have in drawer growing
What's the plan for The Eight after?

They will be put on 18/6 very soon, they're pushing out their first nodes. Once they have 4-8 nodes I will top, and I am going to transplant them into 3 gallon pots this time for flower. From my last grow I still have an aero clone system that I am going to clean and use to take clones of all of the phenos before flower, but that's not for a while now. I am going to buy plant clips this time around because I had no idea they existed until I saw people use them on this site then I checked and the store I order from and they have them.

Its been another week so I turned my flower LED light up by 5%, so it is now on 70% which is 550w, with the tallest tops still 20" from the light. I don't think I will go past 75% on my light, because a number of the pro growers here have my light, and I have seen them say they don't turn theirs past 75%

I saw the same thing haha. I looked at a number of stores and a lot of the descriptions read similarly, to top multiple times. lol Yep, all 8 if I can! I have never ran more than 6 in that tent, so this should be interesting.. I am only doing a pheno hunt this time, not a bud run, so I wont be letting them get very big. HOPEFULLY I can move them to the 5x5 in time, but if not I will be starting flower in my 4x4, then when the Grifters are done I will move them in to the 5x5.

That might be a better plan to be honest, man what would I do without the input I get here ? My current girls needed to be topped early, but this Kir Royal strain? As you saw yourself, it prefers multiple tops early apparently, and I even checked the breeders discord so not just online seed stores where you and I likely saw the same advice. Maybe node 3-4 instead of 6-8 is the right choice, I will do that instead. I am assuming that what the breeder means is that if you don't top they wont want to branch out, because that is what happened to my Grifters.

Update on the babies! No changes other than growing. 30", 100w, still no stretching or burning.

There are 4 phenos that slightly leaned sideways. They're not stretching or in danger of noodling, I just made a bit of an error. Some of the seedlings (left) weren't directly under the light, they were under the gaps whilst the other 4 seedlings were directly under 2 bars, so the plants on the left leaned/turned just a tiny bit towards the right whilst the other 4 didn't have to do anything to catch the same light. I only noticed this AFTER I took the pictures and wondered why the plants on the left were leaning a little bit then I looked up and saw it, so I set the tray to sit long-ways instead, so all 8 seedlings are now directly under the exact same 2 LED bars.

yes, from what I understand early and at least twice make it branch easily and support is less needed. Like splitting the weight- otherwise wobbly oversized middle
early would mean for me 3/5/7, but if you have access to him somewhere there you might ask him
I am sure he was experimenting with all kind of topping of that strain
you will see how they will grow and how they will look at this third node- it will be easy to asses if they are able to handle topping yet
Third sounds brutal but you know

I use bamboo sticks at this point if I want my seedlings to grow even and don't wobble. cheapest. easy to reuse
Haven't buy new ones 5 years

Yeah I can see his strains needing it now, and I have been checking out how other people grow his seeds. I have only bought 3 to flower so far obviously but yeah, those Grifters didn't want to branch at all until I topped her, which is also what the breeder said. I should have topped my Grifters twice, because I had to perform some pretty hectic LST to let the branches catch up .

I might do this, ask him about Kir Royale on his server. I was a customer and he answers peoples questions every day, he seems like a helpful chap. It would be a helpful answer to us both. Ill trade him some answers for some bud shots hahaha.

If they start leaning that's exactly what I am going to do! I have some thin wood skewers I could use already. I was hoping they would be ready for a good water, but they are not ready yet. Still drinking so little, but soon.
