Do. I am sure he will have some interesting things to say about topping this strain. To asses how early to top... and how often
colas look heavy top build type on them- I bet that's why he recommend topping
and I also travelled before buying his seeds and found that his best strains are not easily branching out. But I am an early topper when needed- so wasn't scared at all in my humble opinion plants are handling early topping on 3rd/5th much better than anything over 5th done first. easier when younger
So I am purely interested what results he had with it
And let me know what he said of course

Week 5, day 32 of flower.

It has been another 4 days, and the girls are thirsty. This water is with the micro/enzyme, rhizo and the kelp/seaweed products. I kept a close eye, and still no droop on day 3 or 4 yet, so still 4 days between water. This water I mixed up an extra 4 litres of solution, and each plant soaked up a little over 5 litres. Top dress was added last water, so to help it break down I covered the top soil again with 4 handfuls of fresh soil before I watered.

Purple colour change continues on all phenos. Pale plant is still doing its thing, large fan leaves getting more pale as time goes on, yellowing. I am just going to ignore her until shes done, I am sick of her to be honest. She has been fed no differently, and treated no differently. Her bud production is impressive which I don't understand when she keeps going pale, but I don't care anymore. I made the decision to just ignore her unless starts dying.

Babies doing really well! Temperature is much better so the seedling mat has been turned off and they are out of their communal tray. I positioned all of them under the light in a similar fashion. I have turned the ventilation on, but no oscillating fans yet, they are still a little fragile for that. Didnt realise how bad this pic was until I saw it here, I will take better pictures soon.

Lets hope it just gives me jump scares and nothing serious! I go in and I check buds every couple of days looking for any sign of bananas, and so far no horror praise Jesus. I figure I will just keep checking for bananas or hermies and hope for the best.

Had no intention to make you think about bananas to all of it, apologies
I meant only leaves that right one is rejecting fast too
just twist & pick them up
I was getting up to yellow ones 3 days in a row when girls were giving me what I missed during lollipop
I always try to think- they know the best when to reject what's not needed. means nothing more than energy directed where we want it - up

ps: I still like the buds on pale yellow monster the most

lol No no I get it, Yellow Monster, but I was saying I hope it doesn't actually scare me by giving be bananas if the yellow monster wants to go more pale and make me nervous that's fine I can live with that, as long as it doesn't give me bananas . I have been looking for them on my own for 2 weeks every few days because I keep wondering to myself "is she going to think she is dying, and start throwing out bananas?". Thankfully so far the Kir Royale babies don't have a black sheep yet, but there I go jinxing it.

That could be it too, I might do another defoliation in a week or so and get rid of all the big yellow leaves. There is quite a few of them now, and lots of them shade lower buds.

her buds looks so good that I doubt there's anything wrong with her apart from not fulfilling your expectations

A little over, I am on day 4 of Week-5 right now, and I am the same, I don't usually like to do anything after week 4 either, I do a final strip start of week 3 and leave it there. I will make an exception for the left plant and give her a trim soon, just of the large yellow fan leaves. It will be the last day of week 5 in 3 days so I will do it then.

Hey man its been a few days since I stoped by here and those colors are looking beatiful Im glad that the pale one is apparently growing good buds like the rest aswell! That plant was sus af like youngsters would say nowadays but it turned out good. Suspicious as fuck~

Hey man, I am sure she is looking a little different since last you saw her, she changes by the day . Lets hope for sus'n'sweet bud! She has a different smell about her, the other 2 smell the same but the left plant is different. More fruity.

Hey guys, I'm really sorry about the bullshit picture of the babies I took yesterday. This is a better picture where you can actually see them. Some of the seedlings had a slight lean to them, but I was able to up-right them with just the weight of the skewers. I have made no changes to the lighting or its distance, and they are still only drinking about 50ml every couple of days, still no roots at the bottom of the pots

What do you guys think? Should I switch to 18/6 in a few days? I think they are ready to start getting some sleep.

Edited To Add: I also cleaned the floors of both of my tents yesterday.

I thought they might be too, I appreciate your opinion, so I guess its time to go and find some ducting so I can close up the vents in the babies tent, I know I got some of that around here somewhere.

With the temperature swings I have been having a hard time in my closet, and one day I woke up to a humidity spike of 70% which is pure horror. I ran out and purchased a small dehumidifier to run at night in there when the door is closed. I am running it on 50% humidity mode, and it works great. I will take pictures of the girls tomorrow, as its the first day of Week-6 and I will be defoliating the large yellow fan leaves.

I purchased some new buckets that I am going to turn into pots with a drill, so I have a little DIY ahead of me. I also got new ducting for both tents, because the old ducting I found was in an unpleasant state. I got new clippers as I was just using old scissors.

Babies are doing well, and I have chosen a new layout, made sure they were all under bars evenly. But we have a couple strangelings! Some twisty 1 finger leaves but that's nothing I worry about, the first true leaves coming out look great, but 2 have pre-mature growth on 1 side. I try to judge from first node, and they haven't pushed their 1st node out yet. Oscillating fan has been plugged in, and is sitting a foot above the LED light, so its just circulating air its not hitting the plants yet. They were dry so I gave them each around 100mls of plain water which is the most I have given them so far.

I've got ducting that I packed up when I moved and I looked at it recently & it looks like shit I'm probably just going to buy new ducting too, that's probably the best idea cuz of potential leaks

That was my thinking too haha. I am swapping to 18/6 tomorrow, and I found some old ducting so I could close up my vents and have passive intake of my veg tent. Then I had a look at the old ducting... Dusty. Holes. Bent and uneven in many parts. You name it, both of them have been thrown around from room to room for years .

I have bought myself last year fancy one- silenced and all paid loads of moneyz- outer layer of that phoniquetrap duct is crap- like Christmas present paper - holes after two months, leaks
So I had to go back to simpler but more reliable choice- just combi one in 1/5 of price

Week 6, day 36 of flower.

It has been another 4 days and the girls drank another 5 litres. Just rhizo and plain water. Now that it has been a week I have turned my light up another 5% to 75%.

I sterilized my new clippers and took them into the jungle. The left plant received the most attention, the other 2 didn't need much attention at all. I only went for dead or dying yellow leaves, I don't really like to do much to the plant at this stage. I uncovered only a 1-2 buds, which is good news, I did a pretty good job the last time so all heads are in the light.

I have labeled the 3 seedlings that have strange growth. Wonky-1, Wonky-2 and Wonky-3. Only Wonky-1 and 2 are strange, Wonky-3 is just slightly odd.

Edited to add:
I also used the opportunity of hovering over the plants to look for any bananas or strange growth on any of the girls. I dont suspect anything, I just like inspections to be honest lol. It can be a little hard because I legitimately despise touching my buds until they are finished, so I hold them by their stems to inspect. The Yellow Monster still smells the best.
