Hi yall, my seedling have popped through the soil 2-3 days ago and they’re seeming to stretch up towards the light which I think can be a good thing… only concern is if they are stretching too much? I heard the seedlings should stay short and stout, and if they start stretching too much, they will become weak and not be a strong, healthy, tight node’ed plant. My longest seedling is 2” tall and all the others so far are 1.5” or shorter. Hoping for your guys experienced opinion on if I need to do any adjustments just yet?? Thanks in advance!

My lights are Hlg300 blue specs in the lowest setting possible and they are about 25” above the top of my solo cups. My par/ppfd reads about 250.

Lower the lighting... Maybe by half. And two inches isn't bad if that's all they're growing too. Got any light air movement going on?

Yes I have a fan on low to medium blowing above the seedlings onto the back wall and the air bouncing back dispersing over the seedlings. Are my lights too high?? Is that why they’re stretching?

they are not stretching bad at all, i’d be fine with that, generally it’s light distance and or ambient air temps are too high,.

give them more light but not too much, just a tad bit of stretch. You want the boots around 200 as a seedling.

Seedlings stretch, and it all depends on the genetics, seedlings don't need that bright or close of light until the perennial leaves are present. You will just want to bury it a little deeper when transplanting if you have to much stock . Otherwise they are fine. Breathe its ok, let them do their thing

It's white runtz. I still haven't grown mine out yet. But they are worth while. I love the terpene profile of most runtz

The northern lights isn't high on THC typically, but it is a heavy yielder. The gorilla skittlz will probably be the highest terpene profile with most potency. It is a lower yield but, the high quality bud usually makes up for what it lacks in yield
