We r still waiting on the pH pen. And yeah power Og has been giving me a bunch of great advice. Like pre charging my nutes with half strength on nftg. I added a few extras since they r in my solution. My roomie said it was an ingenious idea one he didn't even think of trying. So that gave me bonus points. Once I have to transplant I am going to loosen up the roots. Not break them so that after I have used a Dixie cup to frame out a hole and loosed up the soil on the bottom they Will b able to freely move where they want to move. I have also gotten advice on strengthening the stock. If u take the bottom of the stock and curve it to where u know it can't go anymore or it will break in one direction and the top in the other then switch sides after a few days the stocks will strengthen. Will take pics to show what I mean and upload them. And thx:-) glad I'm not presenting myself as an ass lol.

Yes and yes If you take a look at a few of my grows I like to do the tie down to my girls and make sure when you do your transplanting that your Dixie cupped babies has just been watered...
it helps the coco stay together and not fall away from the root mass when ya handle it

It Can get Messy

Good Times great grows EJ
Peace

Morn.n bro. Did you get your pen yet? If so, I would check to see if its calibrated. Might be your ph being off. I had the same issues before I got a pen. Could be something else going on tho. Might be burn spots if you sprayed them while the lights were on.. Best DP

I got the pen and it was gradually happening before the pen showed up. So it makes me think it's the folier spray. Wasn't sure if that was correct thx for informing me

Calcium/Magnesium first to nute mix..water with run off, not letting coco dry out too much..and time to get the air flowing, plants out of the aquarium.

When I grew in Coco, I always dried out my pot. Dusty dry before another watering. I always did feed w/ tea evert watering. It came out good. I'll be doing half soil and half coco with biobizz next run.

Ya man..the mix sounds good @sixstring is rocking that. Thought of giving it a twirl myself.
So, for the new guy Eric, let the pots dry out between waterings..especially when trying to get young plants established. But don't let a dry pot sit under strong hot lights too long or they will suffer..just have to go by feel in that situation man.

I'm using the energy efficient bulbs right now. And they r about a foot above them. I have been trying to let them dry out but I'm not entirely sure how far to go dry wise. I'm not sure letting them go till they r droopy is a good idea. And I water them once and it normally keeps them wet till next feeding which I have been doing weekly. And if they r still to wet I let them dry more.

ya keep em happy..drooping is not a good idea. The idea is that when pots start to dry out, the roots go in search for moisture. Over-watering..and underwatering can both be probs. I think you have the right idea.
She looks ready for a bigger light, what ya got in mind or ready?

you will usually have lockout problems and ph issues if you let coco get dry alot, pure coco should always be at least moist ime and if you read around many other coco growers will say that is #1 for good results and fast growth in coco.and i would take @Natural advice in post #73 my plants craved calmag in pure coco and i used it almost every watering at about 300ppm or .6ec gl

I'm needing to remember that the demeters destiny is a calcium supplement and I'm wondering if I should take that out of the equation of nutes and replace it with the cal mag

O and natural I have a personal fan that I am using for air flow. I took the two dank mysteries out. But stabilized them with some sticks since the fans were still blowing them all over. They r still getting blown but not much maybe an inch if that. So that they can get stronger
