Basically what your running into is, You're not going to find a good deal on silver, it's precious metal, and asking looking for a deal on precious metal is like asking somone to give you a doloar for less then its face value. If I were you, id just spend the $50 and be good.

computers have a lot of silver in them, well atleast they did. So metimes you can find peopoe with scrap siover for sale... but like I said, id just buy it.

I need a cheap source for silver for this too....yeah....that's the ticket.

You can buy tiny 1 gram bars of .999 silver
shop around..you can get them pretty cheap

Actually. if you do the math, you will see those 1 gram bars are not cheap

a one ounce bar is a lot cheaper

you should be able to buy an oz of 999 silver for 25 bucks

might find a half oz...but it will cost 15

Pawn shop. Cut the 1 gram bar in half with a hacksaw..

The colloidal silver from walgreens is way too weak..

Hey JK I thought about using coins until I discovered many coins are not what they appear, once I googled them I discovered they were half copper, nickel ect so I canned that idea. What ppm do you shoot for ? what procedure do you use when feminizing ?

It talks about using the colloidal silver @ 50 ppm bio-silver ultra.

I see there is bio-silver ultra @ 240 ppm you can purchase for 12 dollars.

It's 240 ppm ok to use or is it too strong?

I use an old cell phone charger.. Cut the end off that plugs into the phone, bare the wires and connect two alligator clips as shown above using a jar of some sorts (I used a pickle jar).

The recipe itself is not an exact science. But this is what I do, works every time.

Using an old cellphone charger as the (low) electrical source. Some people use a few 9v batteries connected together.. I find the old cellphone charger works extremely well, and I have like 10 old ones around the house..

So the recipe I found online 5 yrs ago called for 12 to 14 oz of distilled water ONLY. That's very important.. Distilled water is the only water I know of that works..

So I measured 14 oz's of distilled water and put it in the pickle jar and marked a line on the outside of the jar. Then I cut holes in the top of the pickle jar lid and fished the wires through and made it so the two pieces of silver (1 gram bar cut in half) connected to the alligator clips hung exactly half way in the water. Then I tied knots in the wires so the silver pieces would stay put. I also punched a few breather holes in the lid.. The water will get warm. Not hot but warm.

You plug the cell phone power supply in for approx 14 hours..

What's gonna happen is.. The low current will try to do what's called electroplate the two pieces of silver, but it's such a low current it won't actually electroplate anything.. But what it will do is remove small particles of silver from one piece and try to attach it to the other piece.. Again, this only works with distilled water.

Note* The two pieces must remain in the water while the power supply is plugged in and must not touch each other.. Or the power supply will be zapped.

So after 14 hours of this.. What your gonna have is water that is cloudy gray and if you look real closely before you disconnect the power supply, you will see all the silver that has been removed from one piece and tried to attach itself to the other piece via the electroplating it's trying to do..

Thats pretty much it.. I disconnect the power supply. All of the silver dropps in the water. I swish it all around then I pour the water into a gallon jug and repeat the process till I've done two gallons worth..

Also I flip the two pieces of silver around each time.. I don't want one piece turning into a nub lol.

I tend to do a whole plant when I do it.. So I use about a gallon and 3/4 of the other one.. Some folks just do a branch or so.. If that's your plan, then I would think one gallon would do the trick.

Just some more info.

Most strains need to be sprayed two weeks before flowering and two weeks after the 12/12 cycle begins. I have had a few strains that have worked with only spraying one week before and one week after flipping to 12/12. But most want two weeks before and two weeks after.

After that just sit back and watch her turn into a guy..

I will say.. I have noticed that this process adds every bit of a week delay.. Meaning, a normal male plant will spit pollen approx 3 to 4 weeks after he is put into 12/12.. Girls that have been sprayed with this silver and reversed tend to throw their pollen a week or so later then their male counter parts.. Just something to think about when timing is of a concern..

Parts per million.. I don't check... 14 hours with 14 oz's of distilled water does the trick every time.. ;)

Thats a lot of water. How long do you plan on running that per cycle.

The setup looks perfect though.

I use about half of the amount of water per run and run it for 14 or so hours..

Sorry I totally missed this..

The store bought silver is not strong enough.. If I had to guess.. The ppm of the home made is crazy high.. 4,000 or so :wideyed:
