Need Advice From Tent Growers

I am moving soon for a job and would like to set up my first tent grow. I have been growing for about six years in basements, garages and bed rooms but i have never had a tent. My landlords at my new place arent as understanding as my past landlords about building walls and running electrical everywhere. Not shutting down my caregiver operation just want a small 4x8 setup for my personal head stash.

Are there any 4x8 tents out there you find superior? My main concern is containing smell. Also assuming temp outside tent was in the low 70's would 3x315watt bulbs get too hot without air-conditioning if they were aircooled?

Run the bulbs in the ducting style it , since that's the main source of heat. No a/c should be fine if you can pull enough hot air out.. and get a air scubber, or a can of some kind.. add some ona gel and that should solve smell issue.. thing that I always struggle with is growing in bedrooms leave great access to plants. Some tent operations can be cramped.. my only bitch. Best of luck. I just built myself my first box. Let's see how it goes.

Thanks guys ill look into those! Guerilla tents were of course the first ones that popped up on google. Im sure that is partially marketing. Cant give away all the details but i maybe getting a grower job with some of our new legislation. I just atleast need my own personal grow. I havent lived in a house without plants in 6 years haha. I need my girls at home that i can go drink beer with after work!

Yeah thats more my budget. Trust me i would much rather build a room out but in this situation i have to settle for a tent. Atleast ill still have a friend taking over my caregiver location. A 4x8 can still give me all the smoke i need and pay the rent though haha

I have 3 yield master 8" air cooled hoods with 3 phillips 315 watt bulbs. Ill also have an 8" inline fan for exhaust that has a carbon filter inside tent. Basically just trying to figure out which tent to buy. I might just take a drive to a few of the big grow stores near me. Some of them usually have some tents set up. Im interested in the secret jardin but apollo is cheaper.

If you're going to be hanging a lot of weight in your tent you're going to be getting every cent worth of your money going with a gorilla tent, if you're not going to be hanging an excessive amount of weight on your tent The SecretJardins are really nice they are what I use.
Make sure you look at the weight requirements for the tent and check to see what your total weight that you'll be hanging from it is.
If it is more than the manufacturer recommends you'll want to pick up a gorilla. But before you buy an expensive one online check Craigslist, and low-ball the hydro stores floor model.

Thanks yeah weight is definitely a concern the hoods are small and light but i want to have my carbon filter hung to ceiling. Yeah used if in good condition or floor model is a good idea.

You should have no problem with heat once set up right... run your lights at night..thats what tents are made for. All you need is a carbon scrubber for smell... just run the blower 24/7

I have my 4x8 tent going. Not sure which brand it is but is was about 400 new at the hydro shop. It hangs the lights just fine but that carbon filter is a bit too much. The carbon works fine on floor. When you close the tent up it actually creates quite a bit of suction. I had to had to add some inlet hoses bent with tubing so no light gets in. But that helped with the suction and no smell comes out. Also ended up getting a small 4x4 for veg and the scrubber is just going to run right through all three lights and out the room.
