Yesterday I watered my garden with molasses for the 1st time. I used 1 tbsp per gallon. I opened it up today and found several leaves folding in and curling up and discoloring. My plants might be overdue for soil amending. They've been using the slow release fertilizer in these pots for roughly 30-35 days now. I've never had plant leaves do this before. I also found what looks like powdery mildew on just one of them...but the humidity hasn't gotten above 60%. Tent is sitting at 78f/45rh...any help is appreciated.

I was reading online about thrips? I have a couple of ladybugs in my tent....but I'm not sure.

And the spots are only on one plant....

mmmm i’m not expert with identifying what kind of pest but if that white stuff doesn’t blow off than you may have the start of a pest issue..
hang tight others will chime in..

So I'm using F.F. Happy Frog soil and soil conditioner 75%/25%. I blended in all purpose 4-4-4 from Dr Earth and Happy Frog 4-9-3 Flower and bloom. 1 tbsp per gal @ a 50/50 blend. And I am using a bluelab ph pen for my water. I also use dechlorinated tap water.

Yeah def a pest. Better than mildew I feel like. But the other plant definitely needs amending.

Those look like some sort of mite bites

Check the underside of leaves with a loop they can be tough to spot

So I did find thrips on the one plant. I have treated the whole tent with insecticidal soap. I also amended all the medium. Thanks for everyone's input! It was a huge help. I'll update on their progress.

I also brewed a compost tea. I'm hoping it will speed up the deficiency recovery time. Again thanks for the advice.
