Sure as sure she was rootbound. Roots to the bottom circling the cup. A little bit happier eh?

I would add 25% coarse perlite to ocean forest because it gets compacted over time, and no nutes for at least a month, its very rich soil already.

Will do for this next one. I added a decent amount of perlite to this batch. A little under 20% Also mixed it with happy frog. Any recommendations for nutes? I have Gaia green right now. Any tips are appreciated. This community here rocks

Not everyone will agree but i wait til the plant looks hungry then foliar feed with Grow Big, Miraclegro…whatever’s on hand, then top dress with fresh soil and water it in.

You could drill/ burn a bunch of air holes in the plastic pot, If it was mine I'd have about 18 - 20 holes around the pot at different heights. I've also increased my Perlite to 40% because I was getting compacted soil from all the watering & feeding. It does make transplanting more awkward but my soil doesn't turn to a solid block now, water doesn't just runs off any longer
