Finding this thread after I did some playing in the kitchen. Some homemade gummies I made. I used 2 ounces of about 12% THC weed and 2 cups of oil and got about a cup and a half back after straining. I will use that 2 ounces of pulp for brownies since it's good THC.

Here's my typical recipe.

My decarb: Pressure cooked for 45 minutes with jar of weed sitting in water.

My infusion: one ounce of weed and a cup of warm coconut oil in a jar, placed in slow cooker bath of water once temperature hits 175 and then simmered for at least 2 hours

My gummies: A cup of infused coconut oil, a cup of water, a tablespoon of soy lecithin, 4 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin and one 6 ounce pack of Jello flavored gelatin mix. Put water and oil in a pan over low heat to get the oil and water mixed together add the flavored and unflavored gelatin and stir over low heat for about 10 minutes. Then pour into a shallow pan, put pan in freezer and cut into about 30 even sized squares.

Notes on the gummies - The soy lecithin helps keep ingredients from settling before setting. If you want to make your gummies with a candy mold, you'll want to use a dropper to put the mix in each candy mold and you will want the lecithin to keep ingredients from settling. But if you're just pouring it into a pan you don't need the lecithin.

I just noticed my gummies look like a bowl of ahi tuna. I assure you they're cherry flavored.
