ThanksThis is how you decide if they are ready to harvest.
I like them all clear with just a touch of Milky or Amber.
Amber gives you the sedative, 'couch-lock' effect and I don't like it. So I harvest before it turns Amber. That's when the THC is most potent.
What if the hairs are still white ? Would you still go by having amber trikes and your hairs are still mostly white? Some of the buds appear to be possibly ready. Have you looked at the trichomes on the buds under magnification. You want see mostly cloudy and some amber. You may see a few clear, but if over 70 - 100% are cloudy/amber she is ready.
Are the pistils retracting or are they all sticking straight out? I go by the overall appearance. Milky trichomes, retracting pistils, smell, swollen. Just an overall ripe appearance. It should look done, if it doesn’t it probably ain’t.What if the hairs are still white ? Would you still go by having amber trikes and your hairs are still mostly white?
