Hi, I've got 9 autos thats just started flowering and I've noticed today that the leaves look a bit yellowing on the tips and looks like down the sides of some. Think it might be either nitrogen or sulphur going with what I found on the net but as its my first grow I'd rather get a second opinion before acting.
7 weeks.
18 lights on.
Grown in coco.
Cal mag 1ml/L.
Flora gro/micro/bloom at chart strength 800 odd ppm.
Ph 5.8-6.
Liquid silicon 1ml/L
B52 2ml/L
Temp 25 degree c.
Humidity 50-53%
Calibrate ur pen- 1 gram of table salt in a liter of water should run about a 1000 ppm on the 500 scale and post some whole plant pics
I put them that mixed up salt/water 1 says 1300 the other just went haywire and would give a constant reading. I can't calibrate them because the instructions don't say how to they just cheap ones for £20. I don't know what 500 scales is. The ec is in its range at 1.8 and runoff is 6.4ph
You can definitely defoliate a bit a few older leafs each day 4/5 here and there no more at time - take the older leafs blocking light from penetrating the canopy and old undergrowth so air can move “inside” the plant - just do t take to many at once and you won’t slow them down !I've just bought a more expensive pen wi good reviews, I regret putting soo many in lol but I've got a 6" ac infinity inclined fan coming so just going to hook up some 3" ducting and put holes in it and wrap it round the underside of the plants. Wi them being autos dont really want to touch them. Cheers pal
Tap water mateAlso do you tap water or RO water?
Yes i add the liquid silicon with the feed but I ph the water to 7ph before adding nutrients because its sky high after adding silicon.Do you add silica at the same time you feed?
You are locking out your nutrients, you need to add your micro bf anything else. Silica and cal/mag need to be feed separate and never together. Ph needs to be done after you mix all your nutrients.
