Hello, I’m growing 3 clones (fruity pebbles OG, Grandi Guava and white truffle x okie) and just finished up 7 weeks of flowering.
First time growing all 3 and overall it’s went well, except for some sort of issue w/ the White Truffle.
They’ve all gotten the same treatment. You’ll see in the pics there is some burning/yellowing on the tips and all around the edges, with some leaves yellowing in the margins.
Also, the upper section has lightened up with the lower staying darker green.
Initially I thought about light/heat being the cause b/c it’s been crazy hot here (Virginia) and I was pushing them at about 900ppfd…..
I dialed my lights back and raised them a bit…..plus I’ve had to keep the door open just to get my daytime temps into the 77-78f range.
I’ve also considered it could be a K deficiency. The affected leaves certainly present all the symptoms.
Anyhow my grow specs are below and the pics will show both of the other plants that aren’t showing this same issue along with several pics of the problem plant, plus a group shot with the white truffle being in the middle.
Any help is appreciated…..so thanks.
Grow specs:
Medium- Fox farms 70/30 buffered coco
Feed- dry organics
LED Lights- HLG 320 & HLG 150…470W total
Space- 2’x6’ closet with 4” exhaust & passive intake.
I’ve had about a dozen grows with this same setup & recipe and have had very few issues.
Whatta ya think??

It's a little lat to worry about this now, your plants are fine, You just fed them a little to much nitrogen during veg. The soil was a little hot.
You should be feeding them a low first number high middle number and low last number blooming mix now. I flower with 5-15-5.

Nothing but a great big thumbs up bud. Reach around and give yourself a nice pat on the back for doing a great job!

Your plants look good and I'm thinking you'll have a great crop. I love the purple coloring.

I don’t have any runoff to check. I amend my initial mix w/ dry organics and follow up a couple times with a top dress.
The goal is to keep the medium very moist but not leach the amendments out with runoff.
I’ve did a bunch of runs like this and every strain is a little different. Instead of growing a strain again and use what I learned, I always grow something new…..stupid me.
I’m thinking I might switch things up next time and use the same nutrients but base it all in ProMix.

Thats what I'm thinking. I always back the lights off during the last week or so to let them senesce. Just like nature does.

Seven,

I’m watching the same thing on my outdoor plant. Notice, at least in my case, it’s the huge fan leaves yellowing and dropping first. Those leaf factories have been cranking for months. Now it’s time shut down as the flowers fill out.

Zill.
