I'll be taking a week long trip to California toward the end of this month. I don't have anyone that can keep an eye on my beautiful Purple Punch grow while I'm away. Does anyone have suggestions for watering?

I was thinking of giving it a good watering the day before I fly out and putting a self watering globe in it while I'm away. My concern with this is that it won't get a good wet/dry cycle that week, and I don't want to cause root rot.

On the flip side of things, I'm heading to the airport at the ass crack of dawn on a Monday morning, and returning late at night on Saturday after it's already lights out for my plants, which means I wouldn't be able to water her until the following Sunday morning. I don't think she can/should go a full 7 days without water, but I also don't want to cause root rot either. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Edit: She's just finishing up week 3 of flower, and will be starting week 6 of flower when I leave for vacation. Not sure if that info is needed, but there it is!

I have a five gallon bucket with a pump in it with a small sprinkler system. The pump is connected to a uis plug and model 69 controller. After a couple days I can go on the app and turn on the pump and water it.

Something like this. It has a hose connection. Then build a drip system at your local hardware store.

Fill up some water bottles, plug them with cotton balls, tip upside down on the soil, the plant will pull out the water from the bottle when needed. I feed insects like that. Never tried it with plants.

DI-Smart Automatic Watering System

Automatic plant watering system with app control, water shortage alerts, and IP66 waterproof design for indoor and outdoor use.
letpot.com

Just so you know! If you turn the "cycle watering" thing off and then back on, it will immediatepy restart watering based on your parameters. "Circulation pump" will just turn the pump on until you turn it off. I saw people complain about this in reviews. Those people didn't use the system right lol anways, good luck man!
