Narrowed down to two LED choices, either HLG Scorpion Diablo OR 2x Growers Choice 420’s
My area is 3x6 (not a tent) about half my closet space.
HLG is a MUCH better light in comparison to my other choice but the 2x GC 420’s will evenly cover that area.
SO UNDECIDED, HELP!!!
Need to make decision today!
What’s your pick?

If you can get relatively even spread HLG. If not the other. How much height do you have to work with?

8’ height so it should be plenty of room but yes that’s my thoughts.... the HLG has a higher output which means more ppfd but it’s only 38.6” In length so just over 3 feet but will decrease in the corners as were the GC has a lower output per light with lower ppfd but with 2 I’d get a complete coverage from end to end in my area with an even canopy.
Also, although the 2 GC’s have a more even canopy the HLG still out preformed it in the corners almost as much as the center of the GC. So my end conclusion is the HLG only because the ppfd is greater at the end compared the GC‘s center ppfd readings
Here’s the readings at 24” & 12”
HLG Scorpion Diablo first
GC e-420 second

HLG is about 650w
But 2x GC’s will be closer to 900w
Something to take into consideration
