Time to grow. Decided to soak some seeds. Watched all the videos and read up.

Got a toughbox at kostco. Small heat mat inside, paint sticks elevating tray, cups in the tray.

14 varieties, 60 seeds. 48 hrs inside, peeked twice to check temp a constant 80. Used Willard water.

Pulled the cover. Every seed germinated. Some with three-qtr length root, a few just with cracked shell and alittle white showing. I never got to the paper towel part???

Two seeds, CSI and BOG had completely thrown off the shell casing, developed that Ist set of leaves and looked like big "T"s. All white of course, but east to see the tiny round shape almost.

All in cups and back into the box now. The black box seems to hold the heat and it has a lot of moisture on the sides, drops running down occasionally. 12 bucks for the box.

Wonder which variety pokes it's head out first?

Missed the event. Gave it 24 hrs in the soil and thought I would check and take a peek. 6 were up already, one almost an inch!

Box is working great, saran wrap across the top, a small operable vent flap. Moisture high inside dripping back off saran wrap on occasion, good moisture on box sides. 85 inside. One heat lamp is all at the moment. Heat mat is outside the box now, not inside as before, underneath.
