Welcome to the Farm!

Do a search for foliar products/ uses and go from there... I spray plants all the time but you should put some research into it so you don't spray bad stuff or at bad times re: what the plant wants for different life stages.

Welcome welcome welcome fellow farmer. Not an expert but you said its 3 ft tall in veg? How much space you got? I only ask BC its going to have some stretch to it once sent into flower. 1 to 3 times the plants height already. Good luck buddy. Set yourself a grow diary up and go from there. Oh and solid advice from butter too. Good luck

Welcome to the farm, KingShaka. No, it's not bad to mist water on them during veg, just don't overdo it. Don't over-love your plants, you'll kill more certainly than by neglect.

Foliar feedings great when your lights first come on,say the first hour bcuz the tiny spores in the leaves called stomatas (think I spelled it correctly) are open and can absorb the water or nutrients through the leaves themselves , but I should caution you not to spray anything on your plants under intense hid lights as it will burn them so dim down your ballast if possible or spray plant away from light and let fully dry before placing it back under the lights. I wouldn't recommend spraying after 12-14 days into flower as this can cause some serious mold or bud rott! So welcome to the farm buddy hope this info helps!

Floramite will kill them dead. But you wanna use in the veg stage it stays in the plant for about 30 days or so.

add a few drops of dishwashing detergent to your spray bottle and then spray, spray, spray. (pay particular attention to the undersides of the leaves)

...soap acts like an acid on mite shells so any that get hit will die, unfortunately, the soap won't kill the eggs so you need to respray every 3 days for maybe 2 weeks to give all the eggs a chance to hatch and get sprayed, hopefully, before they lay any new eggs.

...adding a little molasses to the spray won't hurt either, i got this from Murray Hallam and he was talking about the benefits to the spraying of molasses on vegetable crops as a pest control strategy, anyway, i've done it and it works well.

...mites are no big deal if you understand their lifecycle and if you do there is no need for harsh chemicals.

peace, bozo
